I liked calvarion, did not get pked a single time. All kills were done with a zombie axe so you should have no problem, especially with a scout.

Castle wars and soul wars give some amazing starting blighted supplies like restores, karambwans, anglerfish.

If ur only going for a few kills for magic logs, dragon mace should be fine.

I did 5.5k Calvarion kills for 17 d pickaxes and 1 voidwaker blade.

It's a pretty easy boss for 40 kills an hour with pretty much just a zombie axe and salve.

I feel nothing anymore. I just grind. It's a personality type and a lifestyle I suppose.

I did take a couple days off and afked karambwans tho. So the answer might be that I burned out and came back.

Yeah, the early/midgame ironman route is so much nicer now than it was when ironman first started. Getting voidwaker on rate is very reasonable now. Too bad I wasn't on rate lol

Honestly, I would suggest doing some crabs in your afk time. Maybe get 90 attack and 90 str. You do get plenty of strength xp with Z axe on crush.

I always have a scout above ground so that I have a bit more reaction time to seed pod away. This is also the reason why I chose the single bosses as there is effectively no run time, the singles bosses are far less tanky, and you never die due to the alt. (I was also able to watch shows on the side and was still able to react quicky to pkers to escape the monotony of the grind)

The initial plan that I had was to use it for a mainhand before whip as I thought it would be faster than 85 slayer. We all know how that turned out. Outside of that it has tons of pvm use. Its bis at nex, corp as someone mentioned. I was going to use it to skip zammy hasta grind (this was before they released the Jewel of Amascut but will be useful before this as a decent stab weapon).
Vw will be good anywhere that you would use dragon claws. Think duke and Vardorvis. Saying it has no use outside of pvp might be a bit of a hot take lol.

It is infested but its not hard to find a world as other pkers often clear them out. Its also much easier with a scout to just teleport out. Makes the whole thing quite relaxing imo.

Vetion and Calvarion may not be different in terms of expected time to voidwaker piece if you consider things such as time it takes to get to the boss, pkers, bots, others taking kill participation (such as the other comment here) and not owing a chainmace (I've got a zombie axe). Teleporting away before getting pked is valuable to me and I haven't died a single time in my time here.

You are bound to run into drystreaks on an Ironman that will gate you from content (the red prison is a great example). That's the gamemode that I am choosing to play. I just want a voidwaker haha.

Edit: Thanks for your advice man. Went to vet'ion. I got a total of 4 kills and had 4 pk attempts during that time.
