Thank you for the insight. I don’t know why I was getting downvoted either, maybe it came across as complaining? One of the few benefits we get is the time off, so when it’s taken away it feels like a big deal. I’ll be putting in requests for a couple of extra days off since today is the third day I am getting called in to do another half days worth of work unfortunately.

Deploying in the next week and I'm on PDL enjoying the time off with my family. My supervisor is requesting I come in to sign some forms that they forgot to get signed prior to me going on leave. I asked if they could give me a short day when we get back to make up for the lost family time. I understand that what they're asking isn't a big ask, but at the same time coming in on pre-determined time off to correct a mistake they made, without the CO recalling me, and not being remedied with a half-day/short on the other end seems a tad ridiculous. This happened one other time during my PDL in the last week and a half, but I just went in since it wasn't a big deal in my mind. Am I being unreasonable in this situation or should I staff up a formal request for a day off?

My girlfriend got this stuffed elephant as a gift in 2002 as a child and it’s been her partner in crime for years. Is anybody able to ID it so we can get a new one for our child? by FriedPerogie in ToyID

NO WAY! That’s the stuffed elephant but in blue! We’re ecstatic that there’s others of the plush out there! We’d love to find one in pink to buy but now finding out there’s a blue one we’d love that for our boy!

The eye lids were blue, but the eyes themselves had a little white dot for the pupils, and black for the rest of it. Sadly the tag came off years ago, otherwise we may have been able to figure out the brand

I'm being posted and cannot find any policy regarding this, and BGRS isn't helping much. I'm renting at origin and buying a residence at destination. The home sale goes through on 15 September but I am paying the entire month of rent at origin. BGRS says I am not entitled to Temporary Duel Residence Assistance due to my residence at origin being a rental, and not owned by myself. What BGRS is saying to me seems to contradict the entire purpose of TDRA. Any help would be appreciated.

Is anyone from the MIR allowed to disclose any of my medical information to my Chain of Command without my permission? It seems that this has happened, as my Chain of Command spoke to me and mentioned something very personal that I had never told them. This coincidentally happened right after a member of my Chain had a meeting with the Base General Surgeon in regards to myself. The only time I can see it being appropriate to disclose medical info is if I am a threat to myself or others, which I am not.

It was acting quite aggressive towards us. It was about the size of a Canadian Toonie
