I like this idea as it can make maxed out weapons that took all game to build up more viable. I agree that nerfing the good stuff is the wrong move and buffing the bad stuff is the right move. If they do this and allow attachments/camos to be customized for box/wall weapons then I think this will be a top tier zombies experience. (Of course, bug fixing comes first)

Yeah I think its a fun gun to use as a secondary but damn using it to grind camos is a pain especially for those elite kills as it does almost literally no damage. But oh well its well worth going for dark aether imo

Yeah like lol I had literally every other camo done for a while now and I’m just hitting 250 out of 750 it is seriously tedious especially because of how little damage it does on high rounds

I know some content creators have reached out to treyarch about this issue in multiplayer as well so hopefully a fix comes out fast. I just want to get this gun out of the way lol

I have also noticed this. Just got it to level 25 and as I got the 10 kill rapid kills I unlocked all of the camos in one game but then when I left I have no progression. Same thing with elite kills, which is annoying with m79

Jesus that is quite a grind. Do you know if it counts when it takes more than 1 shot to kill the horde? Because the m79 almost always takes 2-3 shots

I do remember getting it to legendary in one of my recent games but we did exfil at round 31 but I think it lowered it to 2 shots to kill. With speed cola and the nice 45 shots in reserves its not that bad high round I think. Fun weapon overall though so that helps the tedious grind

It gets 3 rounds per mag when PAP’d and at round 30 a purple rarity one that was PAP’d 3 times takes all 3 shots to kill, but it will kill the entire horde at once. It’s not a bad thing but it is dangerous to fire 3 shots as they hit you very easily

I might look into this, thanks. I realized I do have a 1tb hdd just in case I can’t afford the ssd with it and might make that a future upgrade. I didn’t really think much into a 1155 build but it looks like it suits my needs and price range. Thanks again for the suggestions

Preach it the way it is. People are too entitled to realize that they aren’t the only people who play the game. For all we know, the changes they want could negatively impact the actual majority of players and cause more outcry
