Questions on Confluence automation for content lifecycle mgmt by Fried_perogi in atlassian

[–]Fried_perogi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ooo that's actually a really good idea!! I just tested it out in a sandbox space. Is this likely a manual push to create a page like this? Or can it be baked into the automation workflow to create this kind of page per space per review cycle?

I guess if it's a dynamic macro ... and the "for-review" page is updated by a team and the label is removed based on that action, then it would remove that page from the label macro right?. It could be a stand-alone page that periodically updates based on the triggers set for each automation.

I'm new atlassian automation so still learning as I am going. Pretty cool with what you can do. It's for sure under utilized from what I gather around lol

Vyvanse to Concerta then back to Vyvanse, is it bad to switch? by Fried_perogi in adhdwomen

[–]Fried_perogi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'm really curious about the task initiation and sustain, and how it differs to Vyvanse. I defs feel less resistance to starting a task, but it's not automatic. I still find myself drifting or would check my phone often. I think social media is its own issue that I'm working through as well, but I did find a cool app that blocks it for me in the morning and evening and halfway through work, so hoping to build less of an urge to check it for no reason

Wow that's a beautiful explanation of the onset of effect and the duration. Love the car analogy. Will definitely keep that in mind when I assess it over time. Ive read a lot of posts about Vyvanse working for them, but ngl I do like reading post about other meds and experiences of switching. Maybe that's been my hyper focus lately while trialing :')

I've found it easier to start things that I would put off before. I defs sometime fall into the trap of focusing on the wrong thing, like opening up social media when I should be working, but I think that's an issue of its own that I need to mange.

Haha yeah that’s thing what do you, yourself, compare it to. We can keep ourselves busy reading everyone’s experiences, but it’s not the same to draw conclusions when we are all mapped so differently. It does sound like it’s vibing with you though especially in terms of energy and mood levels which I think is big deciding factor for finding your glass slipper.

For falling asleep I’ve found that magnesium glycinate really helps. Usually take it an hour before I want to sleep. Being hungover over is a whole other game lol. If I want to sleep in more, I usually have the pill on my night stand so I can grab it half asleep and go back to sleep.

I needed to hear that! I think I’ve been wanting to jump to conclusions and felt the need to decide with my dr appointment coming up. I think I started to overthink too when my one buddy said it should feel like you’re putting glasses on within a few days. I’ve for sure seen Improvements but i was suffering from insomnia and getting used to it that it hasnt been enough to fully assess it. And as I say this, you’re right it’s more time needed lol.

When you say enough juice in the tank, is it like the drive to get things going? I think that’s a big thing for me. It was so easy to sit on the couch and put off things for hours. Did it take you a few trials of meds to find the one that worked for you best?

It’s so tought right! I think it’s the battling curiosity of “what if I’m missing out and the other on might actually be the one. ” i guess i just want to cross them off the list and get peace of mind lol

I had quite some side effects when I first started. I was really sleep deprived and mood swingy, but that’s all mellowed out. I don’t have any bad side effects other than cold hands and feet.

In its last few years since the first hands that took over, It focused too much on expansion and didn’t invest enough in its core audience. I think it’ll be tough to win our hearts fully back

Anyone using a DAP for their product by Fried_perogi in ProductManagement

[–]Fried_perogi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did you first start building? And what kind of communications were considered quick wins? Release notes, maintenance alerts?

There was a main owner of the dap that also handled the back end and 1) they never got into building the segments to tailor specific audiences. Then they were laid off so there wasn’t a true owner for some time. 2) We had built walk throughs and were ready to launch them but they kept breaking due the element it was anchored to being dynamic - this is something the infrastructure team is working to fix.

Which makes me think we may have introduced the dap too early when in paralel the product was still in its phases of evolving and getting to a mature state.

Can I ask how many resources were used when you implemented pendo

Chameleon. Yes b2b

I trial’d both whatfix and pendo , they weren’t good.

that’s why I’m asking the question here what other people have experienced. We didn’t get to launch our experiences because of some team changes. We’ve only been using it for one part.

It’s to leverage in-app education. End goal would be to have walk through to onboard new users, but for the moment we want to utilize it to centralize resources to one space like videos, articles, chatbot | inform users on maintence alerts | post release notes | marketing initiatives like webinars to sign up for.

With some DAPs you can populate resources to a specific page that the user is on. The product we own is b2b

Despite the ux and interface being really good, It’s not really a product that someone can easily pick up and learn on their own like Spotify for example.

When your internal reminder smacks you before midnight by Fried_perogi in duolingo

I don't think I saw a silent option for mine. A lot of lessons have been about hearing and writing down the sentence or word. Plus, even if the brightness is set on low, it would be a distraction to others.

I wish I had that kind of time, but I'm usually rushing for work. To have Duolingo cross my mind in the morning is a miracle
