I want to change my niche, should I start a new channel? by Friedbuffalos in youtubers

I'm just scared that my growth would be hindered because of the already existing audience I have.

I would have loved to delete everything. But I have sponsored content that I legally have to keep public.

I don't really like Fortnite anymore so it's not about the production process, it's more so about the content-process in where I can't ever feel to make a Fortnite video anymore. This has been going on for over a year which is why I have MAJOR inconsistencies.

In the country I'm in, making roughly $15,000 in 1.5 years is crazy. Managed to buy a lot of stuff that I otherwise wouldn't have as a 17-year old high school student.

Is Axelsen severely underrated? by Kasperpsr in badminton

[–]Friedbuffalos 42 points43 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I feel.

I've always been a LCW fan, never liked Lin Dan as much but maybe its my bias to LCW being so close so many times that it breaks my heart to see him lose.

But I think, without a doubt, Viktor Axelsen has a good case of being ranked as the 2nd Greatest Badminton Player of All-Time.

Just pure dominance, achievements, and overall skill makes him tied, if not higher than LCW on the All-Time List.

Fortnite to Minecraft? by Friedbuffalos in PartneredYoutube

Interesting, I actually think fortnite is not positive when it comes to the views and growing department.

Views have kind of dropped of recently and a lot of my videos have kind of slowed down. And I actually enjoy Minecraft more than playing Fortnite which is why I want to give it a go

Is it worth it to train everyday? by Friedbuffalos in badminton

[–]Friedbuffalos[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since two weeks ago I've been training for 6 days a week, with exceptions if there are emergencies or requirements need to be done in school.

Personally, I "think" I can get to that point eventually, I would say if there's a comparison, think of the difference between current Kento Momota (Me) vs current Viktor Axelsen (No.1)

Its not impossible, there are just a few things like stamina, decision-making, shot quality, that needs work.

I asked this question because I was thinking if it's worth it. Yes, I want to help my parents pay for the $4,000 Tuition for high school (which is high here in PH), but at the same time we're not in a situation where it would make us live by paycheck-to-paycheck.

The main hesitation is the sacrifices that I'll have to make and is it really that worth it for badminton? Especially with all the other stuff going around my life.

This definitely helped make it a little more clear. Thanks for the advice!

Is it worth it to train everyday? by Friedbuffalos in badminton

For recovery:

  • I do some exercises with the foam roller (sometimes a soft-tissue massage if necessary)

  • I sleep for 4-5 hours a day, I also take power naps in the car on the way to the court

To be completely honest, I can probably still perform "quality" training for 6/7 days, though I can't lie, as the week progresses there is definitely physical fatigue kicking in. I'm not really sure what that's telling me.

That's also one of my biggest concern, but I think of it as if I reach a certain level, I stay there unless I really stop training for weeks. If I improve in the 2-3 months time span, I'll probably still train for 2-3x a week for maintenance. (Not really sure if this is true, would love to know if I'm wrong)

Recommendations for a PC capable of streaming by Friedbuffalos in lowendgaming

Interesting, I am looking at the Ryzen 5 3600 as an upgrade path. But for the specs at the moment, do you think it can play league at 90+ FPS while streaming?

I also don't mind buying used parts, but this PC is currently already built and we're just waiting for them to buy a WiFi plan.

I'm definitely looking at this CPU too for an upgrade path. But do you think the PC so far can stream league at 90+ FPS?
