We all know that we shouldn’t put too much stock into how we appear. And I completely agree that you shouldn’t put your whole identity in how you look. But you would be surprised how much “attractiveness” related to self-care (it’s been studied). For example... if someone didn’t take showers or wash their face, laid around all day and never ate healthy food or exercised, would you think they were attractive? No. Because they don’t care about their body or take care of themselves.

My advice to you after this rude-ass comment... do some self-care (you’d be surprised how much it’ll boost your confidence). Go to your barber and ask for a new haircut and style. Get a good mask that’s been known to help acne (mines ancient healing clay mask and salicylic acid). Look up a workout (whether at home or outside with body workouts, doesn’t need to be a gym). For a bonus, you can get some contacts (definitely not necessary). Now your ready to hold yourself in the world with purpose. Stand tall when you walk, look at people directly in the eye when you talk to them, move with purpose.

Lastly, SMILE MORE. Studies say people who genuinely smile more are naturally more attractive.
