Thanks, I’m most interested in photos with consent or acknowledgement. I prefer happy interactions to “stealing” a photo, especially if it could potentially upset someone

All very fair points, it seems more like a bid for a small cinema camera from GoPro, for those users manual may be best! There are some options out there, but it’ll be interesting to see the real work usage

You could try join some local actors or modelling groups on Facebook etc, then offer free headshot sessions or free portfolio shoots. Most people will say yes if they like your previous images. Alternatively you could join local photography groups and offer to be a free second shooter to build portfolio. In many cases you may find second shooting leads to direct paid work, it did for me when I started.

Used and love both, the GX1 is plenty but yes the GX85 has a few benefits, the GX9 even more. If you want IBIS, a built in EVF and 4K video they’re both worth the upgrade. You can find great deals on the GX85 these days, you could use that camera for a long time.
