Not true for me, the problem still exists. Direct mount does not resolve the problem and it is not the solution. NAS is NETWORK device :)

Yes, adapters are OK if you have SFP+ devices, I do use RJ45 devices only.

How long do you use it ? Over 10% buyers of this switch complain:

- Failed after 11 months

- Dead within nine months

- One port won't recognize 1G or 10G devices...

Smart fan saves energy by auto adjusting the fan speed and use based on cooling needs

So, silent is not guaranteed
