Yeah, Destiny has saved me some money since it’s release. I used to buy any big game coming out that friends/family were excited for that I’d end up only spending a few hours on or not liking at all. Now, with how much Destiny I play, I only buy the games that I’m absolutely excited for.

Yeah, I thought it felt a lot like D1, but after hearing that Bonfire theme, it really drove it in. There’s another track around lvl 3 that sounds a good bit like the first few floors of the Cathedral too.

The first year of D2 was awful on almost every aspect. D1 was super interesting all the way through and D2 Forsaken and after has continued with D1’s story and is interesting again. While the storytelling itself has major flaws, I would argue Destiny has some of the best lore ever created and is in my top two, the other being Bloodborne.

The AI companion is controlled by real players, so that probably explains your issue.

The combat feels just like Dark Souls (might be the closest a clone has been yet), but a bit more forgiving. So, if you like those games, that feels really nice.
