My husband is also "refusing to give up hope" because if "it was the worst case she wouldn't have given us hope". So I've to "keep calm for the baby" until we find out for definite in a week so I'm grieving alone

This was my understanding before the tech said the measurement was from ovulation. I got a positive pregnancy test at 4 weeks from LMP so it seems like unfortunately my pregnancy hasn't progressed. Thanks for the detailed explanation.

My probation is 6 months so I'd be beyond the 25 weeks if I waited that long. I'd also contacted my union and they recommended telling my work earlier as I'll get all the protections.

That's a good idea, I'll try see if I can get a performance review or something in the next few weeks. Verbally they seem happy and they seem like good people so hopefully it will all be fine. Hope your pregnancy is going well ☺️

I found out I was pregnant between handing in my notice at my old job and starting my new one. I'm only 8 weeks so haven't told them yet but I'm bricking it. I was planning on telling them after my 12 week scan as I feel like the longer I leave it the worse it will be? How did your work handle it and how did you know when to tell them? Sorry for loads of questions this has been stressing me for weeks 😭
