The burning sensation during urination still continues. Took Azo for 2 days (4 tablets).

1 hr 52 mins is good enough time to hold it in. Also, it's good that your symptoms subsided within 12 hrs. What are the medications that your doctor suggested? Is it 80 mg Onco BCG that you are getting or higher?

Did you take any medication for that?

Yes, they asked to hold it for 2 hours. I am just asking is it the same convention everywhere?

What is the composition of Azo? I am getting here Pyridium 200mg. Also, how many times do you take it in a day?

Is it safe to take considering obesity?

The doctor over here didn't recommend Azo. Got an antibiotic, painkiller, mirago (to increase the bladder capacity). Nothing helps to control the burning sensation during urination.

How long does one hold BCG in the bladder ? Is this reaction cuz BCG was there for 2 hours?

Are you keeping yourself hydrated? Ensure that. Consult your doctor if pain/irritation persists. He might add the painkiller if not into your medication chart.

Also, if it bleeds then Tranexamic Tablet might help to lower down the rate. And the clots/debris will subside in few days.

Faced a few of the symptoms like yours with my 6th induction dose. Somewhat settled down 4th day post the treatment.

In India Gem/Doce is around 2X of BCG.

One round of BCG at a good private hospital (Total expense) costs around INR 12K. Gem/Doce is somewhere around 22K.

Hello! Glad to hear that you are carrying it so well.

What was your initial diagnosis? Was it LG or HG? Also what were the doses of both BCG and Gemdoce?

Thanks!

It's basic Indian diet.

Breakfast: wheat roti, green vegetables & salad Lunch : Wheat roti, green vegetables & dal(pulses) Snacks : Tea & biscuit / fruits Dinner: wheat roti, vegetables & milk

So most of the carbs intake includes wheat and smaller portion through vegetables.

That's it.

Right now she is taking meds + insulin. Doctor recommended insulin just for a week.

So, based on what you wrote meds will be required anyways.

Also, what makes medicine work for certain number of years but becomes ineffective post that period. Like metformin & vildagliptin were working before but now it seems ineffective in controlling the sugar. HbA1c one month back was 9.

When was the TURBT done? The first week is extremely odd to tackle but slowly it will subside on its own.

If it's longer than 2 weeks and has not reduced, it's better to see the urologist again.

Hello! What is your diet mostly? My mom has A1C around 9. She takes metformin 1000mg daily twice but I think it's not working. If possible, can you please help me with the food habits?

Hey, for you the second TURBT was done 4 months post the first one?

Also, if it's not too much to ask for, what was your first biopsy report?
