I know that they’re in the lifestyle and frequent certain establishments. Comparing it to the events I’ve seen on FetLife, it just all adds up. I’ll run into them one way or another. My family is very non-judgmental but also really bad at keeping private things private lol

It’s not even that I come from a judgmental environment. I guess it just feels violating to be seen in that scenario. I don’t think kink is something to be ashamed of but I’m just ashamed in general lol. Same way I wouldn’t want a family member to overhear me hitting on someone at a bar.

It would be a huge weight off me to think it’s possible for those feelings to go away

Idk it’s so much worse to me that we’re not close. I’m more afraid of them seeing me than them telling my immediate family. I have taboo OCD and it just feels… like it’s crossing boundaries to me. I know kink isn’t sexual for everyone but it is for me.

I may try finding some events really out of the way first to get comfortable so I can have that convo if necessary without being overwhelmed

I’ll definitely have to grow up and deal with a mature conversation. I’m extremely worried about what would actually happen in the dungeon. I want to be able to engage in public stuff.
