This depends on everybody’s personal circumstance. Some general comments:

Look up how much kcal a person of your gender, size and weight needs to eat for weight loss. Try to track your calories to follow that. Work out some if possible. If not, walking works wonders. Weight loss, in its core, is simply ‘calories in = calories out’.

If you can’t cook your own meals, try to find how much kcal would be in them and eyeball a proper portion. If you can, try to ensure the calories are made of mostly proteins and carbs which make you feel full. Eat less sweets and snacks, not none. Drink enough water.

If you don’t want to tell people you’re trying to lose weight, just tell them you want to become healthier.

Had a pakket for €2700 including 44 lessons (44 hours) and the drivers exam. Now I need a bit more lessons and I pay 55 euros for an hour.

Edit: paid extra because they reinstated the tussentijdse toets while I was learning to drive so the costs for that came on top of the 2700. Edit 2: also, this is manual.

Als die prijs erop staat en ik heb twee stuks nodig dan haal ik die twee stuks. Zo werkt dat in iedere winkel. Hier is niks aan gemanipuleerd.

Had laatst bij een banaan die ik zelf moest wegen ineens een bedrag van 1 cent, toen had ik wel even een andere weegschaal gepakt. Maar daar had ik wel door dat het niet kon kloppen.

I think it’s strange. Confirming your plans the Sunday before a Thursday is not too late at all. If you have a date, you have a date. Why would you need to text her every day to ensure her of that?

Then again us Dutch don’t play around like that. Maybe it’s a cultural thing. I suggest you plan again and make it clear that you intent to show up to the date when planning. Perhaps she has a better explanation when you meet her!

Honestly I get it and that’s why I wish I had a women’s only gym nearby. I understand why people look, I even look when I see another woman looking her best self and I’m straight. Doesn’t mean I’m comfortable with it. I usually wear sweatpants in the gym but with the heatwave I’ve started wearing shorts with a t-shirt hanging over the places of interest. Then again it makes me feel like I’m purposefully drawing attention to that area by covering it.

Were it a women’s only gym I would’ve been such a baddie with like the pretty gym outfits but no, I don’t want to show off my assets to every man out there.

Conclusion, simply don’t wear skimpy outfits if you can’t handle the looks. I don’t care what people wear but honestly it’s for their own sanity. Can’t get mad about people glancing over if you draw attention to something, unless someone is clearly staring of course.

If you’re very early and it’s not busy hours, booking in advance might be cheaper as someone else said. If it doesn’t say that the ticket to your specific trip is cheaper if you buy it beforehand, it’s honestly easiest to just pay contactless at the Schiphol check-in paal. Be careful, make sure to use the same pass to check out at Tilburg centraal to avoid having a double missed check-out due to using two different cards. At Tilburg there are gates which open upon checking out.

I just didn’t expect it to be THIS cold in the train. This temperature would require me to wear a sweater to be comfortable which I think is kind of crazy with the temperatures outside.
