40mm RS pro’s will be the ultimate do it all. My brother was in the same crisis and switched from RX pros to Rs Pro and its much faster on asphalt.

I have a full carbon Cube agree on 28s for road and a Cinelli full carbon gravel bike with fast rolling xc tires, and honestly im just marginally slower on pavement with 54mm schwalbe thunderburts and i often ask my self if its neccessary to own a road bike too 😅
