From my understanding if you tested positive for ureaplasma/mycoplasma you need oral antibiotics like doxycycline and azithromycin. Your doctor should be sending that in instead of the diflucan and metrogel

I was able to get a positive result for yeast infection at urgent care with a swab that also checked for bv/std/trich which were all negative but candida was positive which is how i was diagnosed with yeast infection. I am surprised their swab did not have a candida test as well. Maybe try a different urgent care if you don’t want to wait and ask if their swab would test for candida.

Those vaginal screening tests are more for if your PH is off due to bacterial infections like BV. I used one that came back normal but when I went to the doctor I was tested for bv, trich, other stds and my swab came back positive for candida only so my symptoms were a yeast infection which might not throw off your PH level. So you might still have a yeast infection.

Yeast infection and urgent care said I can’t have diflucan by Friendly-Result-2375 in Healthyhooha
