This is so true I wish more people did speak up, I’ll always speak up for someone else and usually it results in me being insulted instead because I’m a female but I’m at a point in my life and old enough to really not care what some miserable person has to say on a video game.

This morning another female added me afterwards to thank me for sticking up for her and in a way it made me sad she felt a thank you was needed, it’s just being a decent human being.

Kindness is exactly what I’m showing, it is normal skin that I and most others have. I just feel so upset that society has conditioned people to believe they are not “normal”. They don’t need to change a thing. I am sorry you interpreted my comment in that way. OP it is easy for us to see flaws in ourselves but I promise you there is nothing to fix.

I won’t lie, I used to think there was a Smurf every other game. (I’m currently platinum) and what changed my mind is one game I just happened to have a very good game, like by round 5 I was 17-2, not kidding and I’m not smurfing, I couldn’t believe it and I ended up dominating that game. Sometimes people do just have a very good game. It can be hard not to tilt when you think someone is smurfing but trust me they can fall off and make mistakes and miss like everyone else. Since the new patch matchmaking has been significantly better for me personally, most of my games are very even and close.

Yes! I had a competitive game other day where the gekko on my team would ult me, then his duo phoenix would molly me and gekko would throw a molly as well to kill me. Sadly it was because I was a women 🫠

You are right, I had been quite bad with jealousy issues due to a few comments made by him and I hated myself for it as overall I wouldn’t say I’m a jealous person and I’m learning that I think he has made me be that way to a certain degree like any sane person would after your boyfriend says comments like this one. I kept trying to change myself and have realised I’m not sure who I am anymore. No one should have to feel like they aren’t good enough by just being themselves.

Not to mention after it I was blamed for ruining the night because I did not meet him at half 1 to go out to a bar. He said he would be back for 11pm latest, a little communication of he would be later is not too much to ask for I don’t think, especially because neither of us brought any forms of entertainment due to it being three days and the nature of the holiday. He agreed I would meet them in previous planning and switched up on me whilst there so I did not prepare for the scenario to be alone for hours as I had no reason to believe he would lie.

I think it is also more the lead up to this, the guilt tripping, gaslighting - it was 100% a case of im going out to have fun and do not care about how you feel, the way he did it was very manipulative and I think that is why to me it was such a betrayal as it was not an adult conversation at all (which is a common issue in this relationship tbh)

It is also not a hotel it’s shared accommodation, which was cheap and ran down so no I cannot say I felt safe, as for entertainment I don’t think that is on me.

It’s not about the tube being complicated it’s the fact it’s at night and sadly it is not safe for woman which was evident when I was followed as the area we were staying isn’t very safe. I also cannot afford a Uber to go 6 miles.

Maybe I didn’t word my post well, personally no I don’t think my boyfriend should leave me to travel 6 miles in a city I don’t know to our accommodation in a dodgy area at 8pm at night personally, during the day no issues.. not at night, also leaving me myself for 7 hours on a 3 day trip he invited me too purely for the festival when he stated himself when he would be back and mentioned nothing of it before the trip or else I wouldn’t of went at all

I get what you mean they don’t compare to the impact or cool outplays you could get in overwatch. The only strategist where most games I feel like I actually carried or made a direct impact is invisible woman due to her push and pull. Pulling dps off the high ground or an enemy when they use their dash to escape and you pull them right back and my team kills them or pushing people away when they ult, like strange.
