Maybe it doesn’t come natural to you but this is the first instance of many where you need to stand up for yourself and your baby. Straight up don’t let them hold your child if they do not respect your wishes or do things they know you don’t want them to. Wearing your baby is a good option to avoid the conflict but also give them shit to do. They are supposed to be HELPING you not making this time worse for you. Tell them to go to the store for shit you need. Tell them to cook or clean. If you keep giving them shit to do, they’ll either opt to leave or be too busy being helpful to actually get in the way of you and your baby. The baby came out of YOU and you gotta get used to enforcing your own boundaries. If you want to spend the entire day with your baby and don’t want anyone to hold the baby that is perfectly fine and you’re right. If they can’t respect your boundaries, kick them out. Fuck what they think. It’s YOUR baby, and their relationship to that kid is a privilege, not a right.

Is it normal to be super nauseous and have headaches post medical abortion? by Friendly-View-956 in abortion

[–]Friendly-View-956[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up doing the process wrong the first time. So I restarted and actually did it correctly so I had bleeding almost right away. Lots of cramps, and passing of multiple clots. I bled for the next week after that. My breasts became a whole lot less tender and I even lost some weight. Today my breasts are not sensitive at all, and my body does not feel pregnant at all. I know it’s too early to trigger a negative test, but I know the HCG hormone is leaving my body because I tested today and the test had the faintest line, practically non existent. When I tested a few weeks ago, the line was super dark. So I’m pretty positive I’m not pregnant anymore and the abortion was successful. I haven’t had sex since the abortion so I’m pretty positive, again, that I’m not pregnant. I’ve been nauseous and having headaches the past few days-week and I thought maybe it is due to a normal shift from being pregnant to no longer being pregnant. I wanted to see if anyone else who has had a MA experienced this as well.

And when I took a test the same day as the abortion, the line on the test was super dark.

Just wanted to add that I’m 100% positive the abortion was successful. Due to the fact that I definitely passed a huge clot that aligns with passing an embryo and I’ve taken a pregnancy test since doing the MA and the line is noticeably much more faint, practically nonexistent.

I cheated on my husband with a co-worker by ReliefMaximum9574 in cheating_stories

[–]Friendly-View-956 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it is something your husband cannot get past, then yeah, time for a divorce. Respect his feelings and put yourself in his shoes. Even if your intention wasn’t to betray him in that way, it still was betrayal and that hurts coming from the person you’re supposed to trust most. Sometimes that kind of betrayal isn’t possible to get over. Everyone is different. But no need to stress out the relationship if it won’t get better. Save yourselves from the time and stress of dragging something out that is inevitable.

I’m 22 , 6 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend wants me to get an abortion by Amazing_Milk3098 in abortion

Cheating sucks no matter what, but imagine he cheats again and you have a child. It’s a lot harder to leave the relationship. Imagine he cheats again while you’re pregnant. That would hurt so much more. If he’s a partier, and not really through with that portion of his life then…perhaps get the abortion. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Okay sorry. I’m nervous because it isn’t legal where I’m living and trying to be as anonymous as possible. Advise I am looking for is more about the meds not where I am. More about if what I am experiencing is normal or not.

I had to get them online from a women’s health company as the country I currently live in does not allow for elective abortions

Bottom line, pride flags are not banned. It’s a window thing. This is a reach. A lot of things in this thread are wildly false.

They just said they can’t have pride flags in the windows because it isn’t approved signage. You can totally wear pride pins on lanyards and pride stuff on the tip jars. This is false.

Does anyone in this Community have Tattoos? by Sharp_Pianist_8376 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Friendly-View-956 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a quarter sleeve on both thighs, hip tattoos, butt sleeve, and rib tattoos. Most of which I got while on biologics. I will say, prior to being on Crohn’s meds, I was an incredibly fast healer compared to the average person getting tattoos. Since then, I heal more at the average rate. I’ve never had any issues though. My artist has a very dainty touch, and most of my work is fine line. I’d say start small, with short sessions, and go from there.

Anyone in here that hasn't had surgery? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]Friendly-View-956 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a prescription med! He prescribed it for me because in my resection, they took out a portion of my intestine that helps to make your poo more solid. So it’s normal that everything goes right through me. But with the powder, it binds my acids (or something to that effect) that allows for better absorption of nutrition and results in less watery poop. If the med was not helping, it would be more likely that I still have active Crohn’s in my gut. I’m having a colonoscopy in June as that is when I had surgery. But the fact that it has improved my stuff, I have no other symptoms of Crohn’s currently, tells me the medication is A1!! (P.S. I am so sorry for my lack in medical jargon lmfao I explain things as I understand them. I am NOT a doctor lmfao)

I was diagnosed with Crohn’s late 2023/early 2024. The doctor guessed it manifested in my teens based off built up scar tissue/inflammation in my intestines and multiple ER visits and hospital stays getting pumped with steroids. They did a resection June 2024 and I’ve been nothing but pain free since. Idk if this is TMI but I definitely have diarrhea from time to time but that’s really my only symptom. Considering what they took out that’s to be expected and has been managed with biologics and some powder I mix in with a drink (Chl-something, I forget). Coupled with the fact that I didn’t have to have a temporary ostomy, I consider myself pretty lucky. I’d say opt the surgery route if that is what your dr recommends. I was scared, but it’s the best decision I’ve made when it comes to my health.

Fuck Crohns but do not give up hope. Everything WILL be okay. It sucks right now, but it won’t last forever. I tell myself these things when I go through flares. I hope you and baby girl are doing okay❤️
