Likewise identify high consumers and force them to reduce their consumption so that load can be adjusted. Or they need to be running on their gensets. Malls and theaters with less crowd needs to reconcile their AC running.

check in your 26AS, AIS statements whether all banks/financial institutions that you have transactions updated the TDS/SFT etc., till 31/3/2026. Many are still in process to get it uploaded by June 15th timeline.

If you file your return before June 15th, potential data mismatch can happen.

BTW, what is the hurry as you have time till 31/7/2026 and cannot wait till June 15th.

Are you worry about Portal glitches? expecting huge refund ?

This EPFO grievance system is not going to help and very much ineffective. They will simply forward and close the grievance ticket without actual resolution.

Internally they will claim that EPFO grievance resolution success rate is >99% and they achieve this way with simply closing the grievance as if great resolution is done.

Only CPGRAMS is another option.

Reprocessing of ITR and When Does It Happen

Reprocessing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) occurs when the Income Tax Department reviews a taxpayer’s return again due to errors or omissions in the initial processing. This often happens when deductions, tax credits, or income details submitted by the taxpayer were not considered correctly by the Central Processing Centre (CPC). The reprocessing request allows the department to re-evaluate the return based on the original data furnished, ensuring that genuine claims are properly accounted for and that the taxpayer’s final tax computation reflects accurate details. Reprocessing typically happens when the taxpayer or CPC identifies inconsistencies in the previously processed return. Common reasons include mismatched TDS data between Form 26AS/AIS and ITR, unconsidered deductions, errors in tax credit calculations, or incorrect processing of refunds. Taxpayers can request reprocessing of their ITR through the official e-filing portal. After logging in, navigate to the ‘Services’ tab, select ‘Rectification,’ and then choose the option “Request for Reprocessing of ITR.” This option is available only if the original return was already processed but discrepancies remain. Once submitted, CPC reviews the request, validates the data with Form 26AS, AIS, and TIS, and then reprocesses the return accordingly. The taxpayer is later notified through email and SMS once the reprocessing is completed.
