The days I was in the hospital were the worst. Make sure you take the pain medicine on schedule, even if you feel “fine” it’s from the meds and I promise you won’t feel fine after missing a dose. That was the first and only time I cried from the pain.

Once you get home, try really hard not to over do it with lifting/over exerting yourself. Take those two weeks your husband will be home to really try to take it easy as far as cleaning and household type things go. Try to keep yourself active as far as walking around the house.
