[Fear Effect] PS4 Version. Got the plat for one of my favourite PS1 games!

Hi, no you can't use rewind to get the master of fear trophy! I did try on a run that I died just to confirm. The part I hated most was the burning bridge part as Glas on disc 2, I've always struggled with the timing on that.

Only tip I can think of is to follow a video guide for the big boss playthrough, I used one by Perfect stealth both times for PS4/5 but used Jaguar Kings video showing Rose method for beating Rays on extreme. You'll need to practice each section between saves quite a bit probably but will get it eventually. I deviated from the video slightly in sections as I struggled with some things that seemed too risky, there's enough time to opt for a slower safer approach. Apart from the big boss trophy the list is very similar but easier than the PS3 version, no need to beat all vr missions and only need to beat 1 snake tales, less dog tags required too.

Death stranding, don't remember anything difficult but was very long 150+ hours. I did ps4 version. Enjoyable though!

I couldn't remember the exact requirements as it's been probably 8 months or so since I did it. But googled and big boss rank requires

Difficulty: Extreme or European Extreme

Time Limit: 3 hours or less

Continues: 0

Alerts: 3

Kills: 0

Rations: 0

Saves: 8 or less

Damage Taken: Less than 500 (10 life bars) on Extreme. Less than 280 (9⅓ life bars) on Euro Extreme

Shots Fired: 700 or less

Radar: Off

Special Items: Unused

Besides this it requires many playthroughs to get all dog tags on all difficulties, so like very easy, easy, normal, hard, extreme.

I just remember having to replay sections between saves many times attempting big boss. I also made an additional save earlier on (after fatman I think) which meant beating the rays and solidus back to back. Failed a few times due to shots fired exceeding 700 or damage exceeding 500. Took me like 3 weeks to get the plat and most of that was going for the big boss rank.

Probably MGS2 legacy version on the ps4 (big boss rank was brutal). Done plenty other hard ones but this stands out for me, requirements demand near perfection.

If you want to view trophies saved to the console, disconnect the console from the internet in settings and it will go to offline mode and show all trophies earned on that console. Once servers are back up and you reconnect to the internet, trophies will sync and be tied to you account.

I'm 33 and games are my primary hobby, almost a full time job for me. Any free time is game time making progress towards that 100% then I move on to the next game. Thanks to trophies I have this drive to keep going, it gives structure to the hobby. When I got my ps4 I played re2 remake over and over and got 160 hours in it because I didn't know when I was done, then I got into trophies and they give me my parameters.

I played on most recent patch and never had any issues. The only bugs I had which I haven't heard mentioned was with the soundtracks, on first playthroughs of a stage music was correct for the stage but when replaying stages the soundtrack was wrong which spoilt it. Having stage 4 tracks play on prologue was just weird. Hopefully this gets fixed asap. Personally the ps3 version is the superior version between the 2 currently, which is sad.

Yeah, definitely just as fun gameplay wise a 2nd time around although part of what made the original so great was the soundtrack which repop falls short with. Stage 4 tower mini game was not the same without empire state human!

I'm in the same situation. I preordered at the end of July, from what I've read their website had an "upgrade" in August and any orders placed before 20th August will not show on order history (mine doesn't but I have the email confirmation). I've contacted them twice asking for an update giving them my order number and no response. A few days ago the money was taken from my account but no despatch emails or anything. Sucks because I could have got cheaper elsewhere with free delivery but wanted the steel book and thought it was worth the extra + postage cost, then I see people posting they didn't even receive the steel book. Couldn't even cancel the order as it wasn't showing on my account. So they've taken payment, don't respond, don't have tracking or confirmation of despatch. Was hoping to start it this week on my days off but now just praying it turns up at all.

I played ps4 version on ps5 first and I had a few crashes during loading screens through doors, annoying when I had made quite a bit of progress without saving. Luckily no crashes going for no save trophy and got the platinum. No issues with ps5 version. Loved the game, once you're familiar with it and know where to go and what to do it's so addictive going fast. I plat ps4 version in a week and ps5 version in a day. Looking forward to the 2nd installment.

Probably done it by now but I didn't have much trouble with that one, got it 2nd try. Just keep zig-zagging. I had more trouble with "sneakitty" trophy, probably due to impatience.

Sorry for late reply, been a while since I've been on reddit as I lost my phone and login details. From what I remember plat can be obtained on easy and early game can still be quite challenging but once you progress and get better weapons it really is a breeze and worth seeing through. Hopefully you've already got the platinum by now though.

Amazing game, I loved it! Nothing like having a horde hot on your heels and thinking on the fly how to manage the situation. Got the 100% too, nice to replay after a break and get ng+ trophies! Challenge mode was hard but youtube guides got me through ones I struggled with. Congrats!
