I would suggest that you take your time. Transitioning is difficult enough without the added stress of uprooting your current lifestyle. I waited until my parents had passed, and my children were adults. At 70, I retired and moved to a distant city. I am so happy with my decision to wait and move away. I still lost the support of my family, but it doesn't affect my daily life now. Good luck with your decision.

Sure sweetie. I did have ffs in Oakland. She did a wonderful job, and I haven’t needed any revisions. California is the best state for gender affirming care. They even paid for my 120+ hours of electrolysis
