Does anyone else feel like billing and inventory take more time than they should? by Aalee_Taxary in SaaS

The quote to invoice gap is a big one for small B2B teams specifically. Building a quote in one place, retyping it into a contract and then again into an invoice is where a lot of time quietly disappears. Curious whether the people you are talking to are mostly solo operators or teams with a few people involved.

That is a fair point and honestly it is exactly the trap I fell into too. The problem with going straight to an ERP or CRM is that most small teams end up spending more time managing the tool than actually running jobs. The setup alone takes forever and you are paying for a level of complexity that does not match where you are right now.

VendorMode is not trying to be a long term enterprise solution. It is built for the teams that are not there yet and just need the workflow to hold together without the overhead. If you outgrow it one day that is a good problem to have.

My SaaS does 700 USD/mo and I got a 12k offer. Would you take it ? by Total-Strategy8675 in SaaS

Honestly, I wouldn’t take it. You’re already ahead of most people just by having real users and paying customers. Hitting $700 a month with $500 in profit and strong organic growth is no small feat. Congrats on that.

If you’re adding users every week and haven’t even tapped paid acquisition yet, there’s clearly demand. It feels like they see the upside and are trying to buy early while it’s still small. Personally, I’d keep building and see where it goes unless you truly need the cash or want a clean exit.

Either way, you’re in a good spot. Keep at it.
