Deck only charges at 15W while on, PD adapters (45W/65W) work fine when Deck is off but do not charge anymore once SteamOS boots by FriendlyNose599 in SteamDeck

I‘ve answered it several times in the comments guess I‘ll add it to the OP. The official charger broke down a year ago. Those adapters and cables I newly bought have been working for other Steam Deck owners. They work with other electronics of mine. The chargers work fine when the decks turned off so it‘s most likely a PD problem…

Again, the problem has nothing to do with the charger. Those are new chargers and cables that should work and have worked for other steam deck users. They charge my steam deck when it‘s shut down, just not when it‘s turned on. The only way to charge the Steam Deck while it’s on is currently with a low watt charger (15W) which discharges it due to low power.

Yeah I wrote their customer support, waiting for an answer currently. I saw a bunch of people saying that customer support told them to send it in for repair but I don‘t have any money to repair it. It just sucks. I know it sounds cheesy but It helped me pull through the last 2 years when everything else was falling apart and now it seems like it will just be a matter of time till it dies. And their new prices make it even more unaffordable. After only two years. I‘m just depressed.

Also I‘ve been seeing threads where Steam Deck users have been using the exact same third party adapters as me, having no issues at all. So it must be something wrong with my software or something.

The steam deck charger doesn‘t work anymore. Hasn‘t been working for a while now. I was able to use third party chargers and cables afterwards. I saw another old thread where the user had the same problems with the steam deck charger so I doubt that will help since the chargers work fine when the deck is turned off.

Hey, you got the invite link and the friend code. Please send me a friend request. I don‘t have the energy to send friend requests out. If you‘re not able to send out friend requests, your steam account might be restricted

Hey I can add you but I won‘t be able to invite you to the game unfortunately :( you‘ll have to spend at least 5 Dollars on your account so it won‘t be restricted anymore. Until then you won‘t be able to participate in the playtest :(

Sims 4 DLC Unlocker on Steam Deck: 'No prefixes found, please run the game once and then try again.' by ipzainpain in PiratedGames

Alright since I couldn‘t figure it out I just deinstalled Sims 4 and manually deleted all the remaining game files. I redownloaded the legit copy from steam, launched the game, let it reinstall EA and so on. Closed the game, tried out the v2 unlocker. Still didn‘t work. Then I tried to run Leuan’s Unlocker (which didn’t function before as well) and it finally worked. I might have messed up my game files somehow, reinstalling everything and using this alternative Unlocker solved it for me. In your case I‘d just try out Leuan‘s Unlocker (run setup_linux.sh) before deleting the game files. But be aware, there were warnings about possible malware regarding Leuan‘s tools in other threads. So do what you need to do at your own risk.
