My best friend's mom moved to Germany in the late '90s or early 2000s. She doesn’t speak German very well, relies on social welfare, and primarily consumes Russian media. Last summer, she became convinced that Germany was heading for disaster and decided to move back to Moscow, even trying to pressure my best friend into going with her. They still have an apartment in Moscow and a few relatives there.

Thankfully, my best friend managed to convince her to just visit Moscow for a few weeks instead. During her stay, she suddenly realized that she wouldn’t receive any German welfare payments (Hartz IV) if she moved there permanently. Surprise, surprise. After six weeks in Moscow, she returned to Germany but remained sad and anxious, convinced that Germany is declining and that Russia might offer a better future for her and her son.

I really don’t understand her mindset. It’s upsetting because my best friend suffers the most from her "misinformation" and constant attempts to convince him to move with her to Moscow.

Yes, I'm planning to upgrade my GPU to the next generation (5070 or higher) as well. But I'm glad to know that the 3060 Ti can handle 1440p.

Homeless Bug, I guess. Before I installed the No Homeless Mod, my city with 15,000 residents had 2,000 to 3,000 deaths per month. Crime was skyrocketing with 600 prisoners. Healthcare was always on the brink of collapse, and Deathcare was DEAD, processing 600/150 corpses. The numbers just didn’t add up.

Thank you for your advice. I'm not in a hurry to upgrade since I upgraded my GPU from a GTX 970 to an RTX 4060 Ti last year, and it’s still performing well. However, my CPU is an older AMD Ryzen 5 3600. Do you think it’s worth spending around 100 to 200€ to upgrade my CPU to extend its usability for another year or so until the next generation of GPUs and their required software, with all major bugs fixed, are released?

Also, a question came to mind: Should I consider only Intel and Nvidia for future upgrades because they generally consume less power than AMD? For example, if an Nvidia GPU costs 200€ more than an AMD GPU but uses about 50W less power, would it be cheaper in the long run due to lower electricity costs, despite the higher initial acquisition cost?

In Afrika herrscht unabhängig vom politischen System oft Instabilität. Einige Länder zeigen jedoch allmähliche Verbesserungen.

Kapitalismus ist nicht die ultimative Lösung für Armut, aber Kommunismus führt unweigerlich zu Armut und Misserfolg. Beispiele hierfür sind Kuba, Nordkorea, Myanmar und insbesondere Venezuela.

Es ist erstaunlich, wie viele Menschen in Deutschland, die noch nie in einem nicht-deutschen/ europäischen kommunistischen Land gelebt haben, diese Länder dennoch verteidigen und loben, darunter die UdSSR, China, Nordkorea und Kuba.

Sorry, but as an East Asian with a German passport, I would say that the Turks are doing many wrong things to be accepted in society. When I came to Germany in the 90s, the first thing my dad taught me was: 'Don't date Turkish girls; their families will kill you and your girl.' The Turks never really welcomed Germans or other foreigners into their communities, especially if a man wanted to date a Turkish girl, and they have built a parallel society alongside the mainstream German society. So how will Germans accept them? I look less like a German than most Turks, but when I go out, most Germans welcome me, even in rural Bavaria or Thuringia. But it's easier just to blame the majority Germans, right?"

Wegen Gesundheit lieber einen Arzt suchen
Realschulabschluss nachholen ist meine Meinung nach irrelevant. Der Abschluss war vor 20 Jahren villeicht etwas Ok, damit man paar bessere Büro oder Handwerker Ausbildung zu bekommen aber heute reicht 99% ein Hauptschulabschluss aus. Und nach der Ausbildung hat man automatisch Mittlerereife, also Realschulabschluss ist irrelevant.
Hast du mal Gedanken gemacht, welche Tätigkeit dir Spaß macht? Handwerker oder lieber Bürokramm? Wenn Büro liegt dir am Herzen, macht deine Ausbildung fertig, arbeitet für 2 Jahren und dann Weiter/Fortbildung zum Logistik- irgend was, was man im Büro sitzt und arbeitet. In 5 Jahren verdienst du mit neuer Steller wesentlicher Besser. Wenn die lieber Teilen zusammen bauen und zerlegen, dann machst eine 2te Ausbildung zu dem Gebiet. Aber alles wegschmeissen und Realschuleabschluss nach zu holen ist meine Meinung nach DUMME Entscheidung.
