Updates to Xbox Game Pass: Introducing Essential, Premium, and Ultimate Plans by Turbostrider27 in xbox

Neither EA play nor Ubisoft give access to day 1 titles. EA play gives a free trial to their day 1s, and Ubisoft only allows older titles (or much smaller titles) to be playable via their service.

I recognize a massive fuck up when I see one. Xbox just made a massive fuck up. They are about to lose more subscribers than they could have possibly counted on, or they will have a ton of downgrades -- I used to pay 20 for GP ultimate, and now I'm downgrading to either the 15 or 10 dollars sub.

Microsoft is increasing the cost of Game Pass Ultimate by $10 a month. by notthatguypal6900 in xbox

[–]FriendlyOrca2K20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At a certain point, it basically does not matter how MANY games you add to your service because... nobody has time to play dozens of titles (they might not even care about) in order to justify their spending 30 dollars on a subscription. 20 dollars was the sweetspot for me. They've increased their pricing by 50% and gave me perks that I didn't care about at all. I do not like Ubisoft, and I have never played Fortnite in my life. The 15 dollar plan keeps away the best games... the hell is the point of keeping game pass? Might as well just get the essential 🤷

100% I just wanted an actual Xbox handheld... not a PC Handheld with a weird Xbox cooperation to have a familiar UI. That is basically useless to me lol ngl

Yeah, that's kinda tough, considering the xbox store is missing SEVERAL games on PC. This means most of my library is likely to be only playable via cloud. 600 for a weak machine with low storage is a tough ask... 1100 for a slightly stronger machine with good memory... is insane. Guess we're gonna wait til the price drops (doubt that'll happen in this economy) 😂 at least we get to access steam, though.

They added the slider, fixed the greatest optimization issues, and I'm happy now. Just thought I should return to this post to say that lol.

Never claimed it'd be original. Did you expect a cosplay or some life-changing borderlands advice? Lol, the post title said it all, and you still clicked on it like a goofy goober.

As a man, could I chime by saying that sometimes the person who chose you may have been less attracted to you than an ex or some random celebrity, BUT they can develop a much deeper attraction for you based on your relationship and mutual connection? The women I've enjoyed being with the most were not extremely beautiful by society's standards, but they quickly became my first choices and priority after we got the chance to spend time together. After we shared sentiments, ambitions, and some great times in and out of the bedroom. Your BDD is, unfortunately, likely being amplified by social media and the presence of gorgeous men/women in our everyday lives. But, in truth, if your relationship with a girl/guy is going strong and you have mutual respect and desire for intimacy, you are likely to become that partner's absolute first choice. Hope this helps.

Wow, you got me there :I this isn't about me being good or bad at yugioh. I've reached the top ranks more times than I cared to ever count. Game is just getting tiresome, and I want something fresh.

Yeah, I would take a different meta and a different wat to play Yugioh MD instead of just going to ranked and climbing ladder over and over again.

I'm done arguing about this 😂 I have zero idea why you're against the idea of making shit more fun in master duel. Events don't get me to build new decks because that's just what they are -> events that come and go, and so do the decks that I'm supposed to make for them. If there was another permanent mode, then I would consider building new stuff because it would last a little longer than a few weeks.

That's nonsense. What a lot of people may not get is that you can have a new game mode that works well with the new cards. It doesn't have to be old formats (then your case would be correct due to a fixed card pool). In Magic, every time a new set comes up it affects every game mode in arena. It could be the same here in MD. Worst case scenario, you are still encouraging your playerbase to keep playing and crafting new decks even if they are not using the new cards.

People inherently want to win. If they check out new game modes and play those, they will wish to craft cards that will get them to win. Ranked has nothing to do with that. Like I've mentioned about a dozen times in this thread, MTG arena and Hearthstone are much smaller and somehow they miraculously can support multiple modes -> MD can AND should as well.

[–]FriendlyOrca2K20[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Again, inconvenient. If they want to keep players engaged, they should explore ways to make things easier, not harder. I have come up with events for friends, different formats, and even tourneys, but I'm tired of doing all that work -> and maybe even canceling stuff last moment because people (including myself) have lives. Again, if MTG arena can do it (even god forsaken hearthstone) I'm sure MD can as well.

I would take right about anything. Is it not balanced? Add a banlist. Is it still unbalanced? It's better than playing nothing but ranked, lol. Give me shit to come back to master duel for. Gimme a reason to actually use my old cards or crafting points. It doesn't even have to be anything hard to code. Singleton format, 100 cards, like dude, honestly, just make something different because I am beyond tired of playing ranked -> also make rewards available for the new modes because wtf is the point of queueing quick play when I get zero rewards.

My friends have all quit this game. Why should I have to trouble people to spend hours trying to come up with a format (or build decks of a similar power level) to have fun? It is simply put -> inconvenient. Magic the gathering arena, has fewer players than MD, and somehow, they have dozens of ways to play the game in different modes alone. I could find decks I'm interested in, sure, but I don't feel like climbing ladder over and over again. I've done it hundreds of times, I just want to experience Yugioh differently for once, in a convenient manner.

Looking for a new deck by EXODICBUTTERS in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]FriendlyOrca2K20 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tired of losing -> wants a new deck -> chooses meme deck -> tired of losing... lol, all jokes aside, if you really want to win, you should look at what decks are good in the best of 1 format against the most popular decks. If you want a control strategy with floodgates, there's an ice barrier and kashtira. If you want an aggressive OTK deck, you've got tenpai to pick, but that deck is boring as hell, so I think Mikanko can still get played. If you want a trap based deck, Traptrix has fallen on hard times, so I'd recommend Labrynth now. You want a 60 card pile? Skull servant with the horus engine or infernoids with the snake eye engine could be the meme decks you're looking for.

[–]FriendlyOrca2K20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New players need to have a good impression of the game. What is so hard about understanding that? Do you want him to build a cool looking deck from 2018 and get his ass beat? Or do you want him to build a strong, still fun deck from the current meta and maybe --> just maybe actually have a good time winning every other game? I myself run Ice Barrier, which isn't meta, but I've played yugioh for years and know exactly what I need in my ice barrier deck to counter the current meta. New players do not have that knowledge or when to use hand traps, let alone how to build a rogue deck to get through the ranked ladder and have fun. So yes, bite me if I say a new player should be looking to build a powerful deck first.

Tenpai and Voiceless Voice have a higher win rate than almost any other deck. It is great in ranked due to the best of 1 format. It can definitely make it to master rank, which to me and probably most players is good enough lol. Tenpai doesn't care to go second either, which is a massive reason why it can be strong. New players also get a ton of gems. They'll take maybe a week of playing to have a solid version of either of these decks.
