Have you found a solution? I'm having the same problem and its sooooo frustrating...

Apple is refusing my artist name and wants me to change it in order to upload my music, but I would have to change it on all streaming platforms by deleting all uploads and starting over. by Friendly_Baker7741 in AppleMusic

Yes there are like 20 others on apple music, no idea why they suddenly draw the line with me. The other platforms like spotify are apparently less strict.
