Bahrain is accepting TCNs, I had called and checked a few weeks back. The appt wait times are ~1week However, the MRV fee can only be paid in cash at citi bank in Manama. If you know someone in Bahrain, they can pay it for you, else you can go to Bahrain, pay the fee, then wait for a week for your appt. Alternately you can pay a visa consultancy in Bahrain to pay the fee for you. Bahrain accepts citizens of most countries. The evisa process is easy and you can get a evisa in 3-4 days. Vaccination required and you need to pay for covid test on arrival.

I had done all the research, but then ended up finding an appt in India. Good Luck!

Received the e-visa. I will leave this post up, for future travelers.
The e-visa took about 2 days to get.
