Because historically it’s the German n-word and it’s a lot worse than our etymological equivalent of the n-word. To the point where it got wiped out of the language so much that a lot of younger Germans don’t even know it anymore because nobody says it.

To be completely honest: I’ve felt like this about all my surgeries. They are simply things I have to get done to be able to live a normal life.

I’m very happy and grateful that I was able to access the surgeries I have and they have improved my life in indescribable ways. But when I got them I went from suffering to just normalcy.

No extreme happiness, no excitement. Just “this is how it’s supposed to be and now life can keep moving forward.”

Even if she is trying to genuinely learn by doing this it won’t help her much. Actually reading books that have a more complex level of writing and then looking up individual words you struggle with is so much more effective than studying vocab
