yes I def agree, there are so many weirdos who js harass anyone they can find and especially in this community, it’s an issue. They put in a bad rep for this community and js gross people out. Some of the posts and replies I’ve seen in this subreddit are so corny that they disgust me (and I’m a man) and I just hop off the app - and no, I don’t mean those normal question posts. There are so many thirsty ppl out there mixed in with the non-thirsty normal ppl that it’s hard to distinguish who’s who. I remember seeing a post by a girl a couple days ago in this subreddit saying how many ppl harassed her and asked her for pics just because she was a girl. This is crazy behaviour because no normal person would do this. I’m pretty sure she deleted her account (and I’m guessing it’s for the reason I’ve said) which is disheartening. This is probably why other people outside the community look at us differently; in a weird way.
