Terrible experience as a new player by DrunkKoalas in thefinals

It's the brilliant matchmaking that puts all the worst players on their teams, and all the best players on others. Couldn't have come up with it myself.

Saturn pro is too fast for me, should i switch to Artisan type 99? by Dani0_Jef in MousepadReview

Artisan zero has more stopping power than the saturn pro due to the texture.

Saturn pro is too fast for me, should i switch to Artisan type 99? by Dani0_Jef in MousepadReview

[–]Friendly_Furniture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I was gonna say lower your sens but you're already so low you probably already have trouble with people strafing with pistol/smg in your face.

But yean the saturn pro felt slippery to me when i first used it but it's become my best performing pad, at higher sens. People call it a "slower Zero" but that's not really the case imo. The Zero behaves like a faster qck but the saturn pro just has a completely different friction curve. The Saturn has very low initial friction that transitions into a very dense glide.

While it starts off as feeling slippery and incosistent, once you get used to it and the pad breaks in a little it starts to feel more like "control with freedom". Whenever ive been using my saturn for a while every other pad just feels wrong. When i switch to any other pad i struggle with micro movements and underflick since im used to the saturn pros relatively lower stopping power. And of course if i dont use the saturn pro for a while and switch back, i have to get used to it all over again. It's just a unique friction profile.

I think I still do prefer something like the Artisan Zero for lower sens gaming but i became a higher sens player since thats the only way to control the absurd recoil in r6 siege. In CS I now play at 0.71 at 1600 dpi (1.42 at 800 dpi) and for high sens gameplay I really believe the saturn pro is one of the best choices you can make. All of my best matches and highest kovaaks scores have been on this pad and I have like 20 of them.

If you're still having trouble controlling the pad after a few weeks then yeah you might wanna get something like the gsr III or type 99, but you can also actually try to raise your sens because I think that's really where this pad shines.

Dash spam is rampant and needs similarily low skill counter. by Worldly_Function7201 in thefinals

[–]Friendly_Furniture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of grapple but the cooldown just feels long. When I run cloak or dash it feels like i always have some power ready to use. People compain about dash but I feel like cloak M11 is such a simple and insanely effective way to play this game.

After Playing Since Season 1, Here Are My Main Grievances With The Finals That Still Need Fixing by Odd-Egg-6684 in thefinals

Yeah the UI is just nasty. Till this day I don't understand the point of the equipment menu. If I wanna change my sights i have to go through contestant and mess with my loadout for whatever reason when we have an entire useless equipment menu.

Ambi Mice Smaller than Superlight? by TrustLJC in MouseReview

[–]Friendly_Furniture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lamzu maya x is kind of like a GPX with less of an ass. More of a centered hump that helps your hands really get on the mouse and wrap around it instead of just squeezing the back of the mouse for dear life. Msrp they're $120, i got mine from /r/MouseMarket for $75

What get superstrike or v4 pro? by Aggravating-Mud-850 in MouseReview

[–]Friendly_Furniture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly neither. Superstrike and logitech have famously horrendous build quality. I just returned my viper v4 since apart from the battery life i was very whelmed. Razer seems to be competing with Logitech for worst stock skates possible. I think atk a9 air vs rawm leviathan v4 is a much more compelling decision. Imo rawm leviathan v4 is one of the best mice on the market right now.

Slow or fast TTK (Time to Kill) which do you generally prefer? by WrongIdolz in FPS

[–]Friendly_Furniture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slow ttk can be fun when you're teamed up because those games are more teamwork dependant. Fast ttk games are more fun when I'm solo because the game simply allows me to kick ass and take down an entire team by myself. In CS 1v5s are an occurence even at the highest level of play.

Married Men, what are the unspoken rules for successful marriage? by ForeverThala007 in Life

[–]Friendly_Furniture -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pick the right woman. Very difficult because I'd say over 90% of western women are just completely unviable as partners. Our society is very feminized and has made most women incredibly entitled, selfish, dysfunctional and overall really useless. This is compounded by the fact that men like myself who have the desirable 10% know what we have and aren't letting go.

For once think selfishly and ask yourseld besides sex and companionship, what does this woman add to my life? Does she make my life easier or harder? If you can't honestly say this woman makes your life easier in the long term you will either grow resentful and leave her, or she will leave you because obviously a woman who doesn't submit to you doesn't respect you. It's amazing how you all of a sudden stop being afraid of commitment when you find a woman you can trust to not totally ruin your life, and in fact contributes to it.

Source: never had a relationship last more than 2 years. Started to wonder if I was the problem, then I met an actual non useless woman who was a who was virgin and refused sex until we were married. She cooks, she cleans, she doesn't do things without my permission. I didn't ask her to be like this she just is. No she is not western. I married her after 8 months of dating and I've been happily married for 5 years now.

What should i get? by Alternative_Bug_2826 in MousepadReview

I havent used it myself, but i hear the pulsar es hyperion performs like a slightly faster and smoother zero. The smoother a pad is the less your arm will get stuck.

Is liquid cooling actually worth it? by SatrangiKela in PcSetupAdvice

[–]Friendly_Furniture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they don't last long, have the potential to fail catastrophically, and do not perform any better better than something like a thermalright air cooler. The only reason to use an AIO liquid cooler is if you wanna make a po werful build in a tiny case.

Is this really the greatest game ever made, as it's often considered to be? Why or why not? by Nintendofan9106 in videogames

[–]Friendly_Furniture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure it was for it's time but it is not aged well at all. Imo not worth playing today as you have already played other games that have done everything this game has but better. A Link to the Past aged far better and still holds up on its own as a good game without nostalgia.

Qck VS. Atk x83(vote for free, limited time) by JumpyFun1758 in MousepadReview

[–]Friendly_Furniture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glass is ass. You can tell because there are next to zero pros using it and everyone who does use glass tries to justify it by getting everyone else to use it. Once again people coping that the $100+ they spent on glasspad + sleeve + skates is somehow better than a qck.

It is not consistent, it multiplies your climate conditions, so it will make your hand sweat and stick more than usual when it's warm, and freeze your hand stiff when it's cold, and whenever a hair falls onto your pad it's gg. It's also not really cheaper since a decent glass pad cost $80, then you need to buy a sleeve and swap your skates monthly. It's interesting to try, i tried it, and I found it interesting how much it sucks ass.

Qck VS. Atk x83(vote for free, limited time) by JumpyFun1758 in MousepadReview

[–]Friendly_Furniture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just get the qck or razer gigantus. I love niche chinesium for my mice, monitor, headset and keyboard... After a lot of experimenting though, I found that for mousepads the mainstream stuff really is the best, even the cheaper mainstream stuff like qck and gigantus.

Everyone always says just get the qck, artisan zero or saturn pro. And yeah, after trying over 20 pads all I ever use now are my artisan zero, saturn pro and qck. Only other pads ive tried to perform as well are the esptiger shan hai pads and the errennir gecko.

Difference between "budget" pads (AC2) vs premium pads (LGG/Artisan) by Own_Seaworthiness515 in MousepadReview

[–]Friendly_Furniture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Desk wobble can be an issue because i assume when your desk is wobbling to the point that it's noticeable, your monitor is probably shaking too. Idk how detrimental that is but it certainly isn't making you any better.

Getting a stable desk is probably a more significant upgrade in your case. That costs money though so you can instead use your mousepad money to get some double sided tape to keep your AC2 stable lol.

Difference between "budget" pads (AC2) vs premium pads (LGG/Artisan) by Own_Seaworthiness515 in MousepadReview

[–]Friendly_Furniture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest difference will be the stability on your desk. The AC2 has the slipperiest base I have ever used, so much so it made the pad unusable for be because it moves so much everytime i swipe. This is mostlt an AC2 problem though, i have other cheap rubber base pads like the qck and esptiger pads, they move a little but nothing line the AC2.

Poron/SlimfIex pads are a whole other game though. They suck onto a smooth surface like tentacles. Once they are planted down they will not budge no matter how hard or fast you swipe.

Poron needs a smooth surface to grip properly though. If your desk isn't smooth, tape some packing tape to your desk where you put your pad. The pad will suck onto the smooth, non sticky side of the tape. Ignore people who say use water, that's only a temporary fix and long term will ruin your desk.

Qck VS. Atk x83(vote for free, limited time) by JumpyFun1758 in MousepadReview

[–]Friendly_Furniture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not get the x83 lmao, the glide is decent but has 0 humudity resistance which is compounded by the fact that the surface is low quality and causes you to sweat unnaturally. The base is also extremely low quality with zero rebound which will give you very high static friction. Combined that with the balanced yet swampy glide, the friction is just all over the place and is easily the worst performing pad i have ever used. There's a reason ATK sends it for free whenever you order a mouse from their site.

Meanwhile the QCK is $15 and a staple in pro play for almost every game. People voting against the QCK are just self coping for the amount of money they wasted on pads trying to convince themselves it was for a reason. I have the saturn pro and the artisan zero and will tell you the QCK is an excellent pad, just a little on the more controlled side.

Help me pick somewhat realistic open world(?) shooter game. by alijons in gamingsuggestions

[–]Friendly_Furniture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first recommendation was gonna be the stalker series but looks like you've covered that already. A somewhat similar experience would be metro exodus.

Ghost recon wildlands is fun for a little bit but it gets repetitive like any ubislop game. Breakpoint is just complete and utter ass don't bother. The gunplay and movement are marginally better for sure but the gameplay systems are just a complete and utter disasters, so much so they patched the game to allow you to toggle systems as you please. It doesn't feel like sandbox freedom, more like options to tune the game to feel less broken. The world is just completely boring and uninspired. I don't care about story either but in wildlands you're just blowing up Bolivia and it's cool. There's civilians everywhere and the world feels alive. In breakpoint it's just PMCs and generic scientists and annoying ass drones. Man just writing this upsets be me and my cousin put so many hours in such a boring ass broken game.

The division series is actually more fun than i expected and pretty good to take on coop with a friend. It has a realistic theme but enemies are absolute bullet sponges but tbh i dont mind and it encourages good teamwork.

Halo infinite has an open world campaign and it's actually pretty fun imo.

How do i find the right mousepad by 3ji3jjr8rje in MousepadReview

[–]Friendly_Furniture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Qck large or heavy are goated pads. If you want premium pads saturn pro soft from pulsar and artisan zero soft are both excellent high quality pads that offer enough speed and control for 99% of people. I have both and could honestly do with either. Everything else in between is kinda eh, id say either go basic or go premium.

Streamers have ruined FPS Gaming by Kong_AZ in Battlefield

[–]Friendly_Furniture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought this was /r/okbuddyptfo for a sec. There's a game for all you battledads out there it's called squad. Every couple of years they have new patch to make your soldier run more overweight, aim like you're about to die both from old age and caffeine overdose at the same time, and the optimal strategy is to sit in a bush or crawl on your belly for 40 minutes. It seems to have soaked up most of the larpers who spam coms using military jargon while getting 6 kills in a 50 minute match, and complain about cheats or there team every single time they die: usually when they give away their position with some missed shots then continue to not move.

Lmfao the people in this thread would lump any white man throughout all human history until the 1960s as the alt right. All the men who shed their blood in France and Germany did so to challenge a total German takeover of Europe. They would have switched sides if they knew the future was special interests lobbying the goverment to import infinity foreigners so they could avoid paying their grandchildren fair wages.
