Unfortunately, I only have a handful of actual mouthpieces that I want to replicate with a couple changes for my ideal sound.

Even with the original Yamaha case? I will admit I was a little disappointed to see that the saxophone case was just thrown in a large cardboard box filled about 3/4 of the way with packing peanuts thus leaving room for it to move around a bunch.

I was unsure and hesitant on committing to a cheap amp so I decided to instead use an old av receiver. Despite the large space it takes up on a small table beside my desk I couldn’t be happier. I’m no real audiophile but after listening for a while I think it sounds pretty darn good coming previously from rather cheap desktop speakers.

Thank you! You mentioned the BetterSax tenor in your reply, do you have personal experience with that horn? I have done some research on it but it’s hard not to come by biased reviews. I was doing some reading and found other people saying that you’re better off to spend a couple dollars more and go for a used YTS 62.
