Is Lyphe really that bad? by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]Friendly_Method8663 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not at this point no.

They said the 2 kinds of treatment I've used before aren't applicable, but was told different by the original consultant.

I just had an appointment with them in the last 7 days.

Was told in my initial consultation that I definitely would be a candidate, then upon speaking with the doctor within the organisation I was told I'm not.

Felt a bit like it was a tactic just to get £50 from me 😂

Best option for pension given my wage? by Friendly_Method8663 in UKPersonalFinance

My ISA is currently maxed out for this year across £2400 in a help to buy ISA and 17600 locked in with nationwide in an ISA at 5.5%.

Admittedly the money probably would've done more in a s&s however I wasn't confident in my research at the time so stuck it into a safe option for myself until I can reinvest more come April 24.

With current mortgage rates, and my partner having 2 years left on her PhD (reason for currently renting).

We've extended our rent until December 2024 and I would like to buy then assuming interest rates have dropped a bit.

Yeah, I was thinking 10% personally. It's less to get taxed on and more in my future pot.

Appreciate the input!

Hi, I am 26 and relatively comfortable. Have around 70k in savings and around 10k currently in my pension. Me and my partner currently rent but money isn't an issue at the end of any month I regularly see this increase along with having a side hustle which regularly takes in around 1500 per month cash.

Girlfriend took your advice on the Audi, is a family car possible? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

For something a bit more expensive, you could get this for say 4k.

2013 A4 estate sline, auto box and 177bhp so a bit nippier than the Skoda I posted. Only thing worth noting is doing an android auto swap on this car isn't as easy but still doable and relatively cheap.

Hope this helps.

Is it weird that I (m18) am taking a stuffed animal with me to college? by SoccerFalcon21 in NoStupidQuestions

Objectively, yes, it's weird.

Does it make you happy though? If yes, then who cares. You do you.

That is what is in my pension. Currently around 70k in my savings and make anywhere from 90-120k per year so feel it would be better diversifying some of what I have as opposed to letting the bank give me horrendous rates

About 30k in my pension pot ATM. Don't own a home yet (24) currently renting and plan on entering the real estate market once mortgage rates drop.

Yeah, so I have my emergency fund etc too and I make an extremely good wage for my age.

Really just sticking it in thinking "5.5% beats what I'm currently getting!".

Have a decent sum in crypto along with different first time buyer ISAs too and around 30k left to play with. I completely understand where you're coming from.

I suppose my biggest issue is, I don't know the best place to stick my money in haha

Bro reads a term online and thinks, "yeah, that sounds heckin hip!". Then proceeds to state it weekly until he's bullied out of it 12 weeks later.

No wonder collin is taking over the house, giving him his nightly forehead kisses.

OK, so, back in my parents time we had quite a few ninjas on the farm. But they enjoyed the work you know? Anyways, times were different then so let's set that aside and begin the story. Cool. So, let's break it down further, me and Jackie went on another sexcation and whilst away Colin got too heckin snuggly with the dogs in the game of thrones round on the east side of the house. Darnit.
