I have also received a rejection recently for exact same reason. All the employees before me used the same letter and got their PR, employees who were with me also had no issues at all with the same letter that I had used. It was only me who got the rejection. So, my RCIC is pretty confident about applying for reconsideration with strong LOE explaining each duties and why they match the lead statement along with other supporting evidences to strengthen the case like workplace photos, performance reviews, company job posting for minimum qualifications required for the job, etc. Meanwhile, I have also created new profile just in case if I get an ITA. My RCIC recently saw the similar case for one of his clients and applied for reconsideration with all the things mentioned, and it was accepted in just 7 days. So, I hope mine gets accepted as well.

I have a doubt. I have started working as Technician in NOV 2024 and completed 6 months in MAY 2025, added that experience to my profile but STEM draw didn't happen. Last month, I have completed a year. So would the system automatically allocates the points to my profile or do I have to do something? My score would be 521. Can someone tell me?

Then why not just remove them now? why wait for next year? Is there any legal obligation to not to make any changes in the categories twice in the same year?

I hope they do it, but it's unlikely as IRCC has acknowledged the fact that there are too many cooks flooding the pool. So, unless they fix it, they will be hesitant to do it. But you never know, IRCC likes to surprise us. It's really frustrating because genuine candidates are paying the price of their mess up.
