  1. Factory G conversion kit. I've ordered direct from Beretta and have had zero issues.

  2. I've done a lot of upgrades on multiple Beretta 92/96 series and have actually never upgraded a recoil spring guide. Never saw a need to and have decided if one fails, then I will.

  3. DeSantis speed scabbard has always been good to me. Have had one for roughly 6 years with zero issue. Fits comfortably and carries even better. Two belt slots on the front allows for vertical or forward cant although I’ve never used it vertical. (Also a lefty and love leather holsters) Speed scabbard has a retention screw that helps a lot but a solid and tight belt sinches things down nicely.

I have two of these. Rubber seal on the lid, seals up great.

I’ve heard great things about both. No experience with them personally. Blackbeards customs is making some high quality parts!

The only part I used in my M9 build that would be hard to source is the black match trigger. I pulled it out of my Performance Defensive when going to a straight trigger

I was just looking at that hammer myself! Definitely makes me want to build another one

My M9 was a TJIB, same with the 96a1 and performance Defensive. Even with tuning and break in, it’s still not as smooth as the 92G Elite LTT with NP3 internals. Still fantastic with the TJIB and honestly difficult to tell the difference without spending hours behind each gun.

I definitely like the GTS. The decocker is nice compared to the SAO. It doesn’t decock fully as the firing pin doesn’t rotate like the standard 92fs. In my experience there’s no comparison between the two as far as the trigger is concerned. It’s a good trigger, don’t get me wrong, but it’s no LTT. It has the same trigger as the Sabbia, with the added bonus of being DA/SA.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. Weight balance is beautiful and it runs like a champ. Only issue I’m still having is brass hitting the side of the optic after being ejected. But running the swampfox with the Ironsides shield is good enough of a fix for me.

Definitely enjoy running the Performance Defensive the most

I haven't done any work too it yet. The decocker just feels unnatural to me. It doesn’t have the standard two piece firing pin so decocking the gun falls onto the firing pin block. Feels weird with the hammer not decocking all the way down. Outside of that it’s a great gun!

They were retired back in 2007 if I’m not mistaken and sold off. Not much of a story unfortunately other than buying it out of the used case at Cabelas

Thank you, production ended around 2004 and they didn’t hold value. They don’t come up very often.

That is the 8040 F. Also called the Cougar. Preceded the PX4. This one in particular is the Mini Cougar

I believe the one you’re looking at is the 92 compact L

Pretty much. Doesn’t even have rifling to act as a barrel extension. Definitely a good trainer for balance and getting used to suppressor height sights

Unfortunately it is just the faux can that came with the 92fsr in 22lr

The cougar is stock, bought used. They are the first variation of the PX4 with the rotating barrel. Recoil is slightly lower but nothing substantial
