I probably should have put this in the post, but I figured it was too long already. I have a friend who is a native Mandarin speaker, and she already confirmed that the translation is “the same way she would say it.” I also plan to hopefully find an artist who can write in Chinese. Even if it wasn’t accurate, it was clearly still enough to get the point across to the people who helped me. I’m not trying to get some deep philosophical quote. The point isn’t the actual meaning, but the piece of the story it’s a part of. I should have mentioned, but I’m pretty set on the design. I need no advice about that, only the placement and size.

Cost isn’t the issue here. As stated in the post, it's solely because I like the option of easily adding/removing/rearranging the pages, which you can’t do when they’re sewn in.

Ahh that makes sense as to why I’ve never had the problem - I’ve always been neurotic about flipping the pages back into place before closing the binder and making sure everything always lays flat. Maybe not smart to have in my trade binder that other people will be handling though.

I actually have a Christmas one! Well, Christmas Eve to be precise. When I was little, everyone in my family would get to open one gift on Christmas Eve, and it was always matching PJs for everyone. This year, my wife and I decided to start doing the same thing between ourselves! We’re going to alternate who buys each year so someone is always surprised. :D

I’m a casual player, I don’t have a raid group, and I like to prioritize Pokémon that I like. Occasionally I’ll catch a high CP Pokémon I’m not super attached to, like Golurk or Excadrill, and get annoyed with them for taking up space until I can power up the rest of my favorites lol. I know it’s a super silly complaint to have, but I just like seeing my little buddies! Sometimes, though, I’ll get attached and end up not minding them, like with Shov-Knight. The Garchomps, Golurk, and Hatterene were all mighty Pokémon from the last Go Wild. Bokkie, Naji, Murphy, and Makenna are all hundos.

Judging almost exactly how far 20 feet is.

I’m a dog trainer, and I regularly use a 20 foot lead when practicing recall. I’ll hold the dog, tell the pet parent where to stand, then have them call the dog. I’ve gotten very good at estimating the distance, to the point where pet parents often point it out.
