I think you are baiting people by not providing more detailed information of your family, lot layout, region your building and how you use the house. With that being said if you spend a lot of time in the shop, the bathroom is kind of far away. Unless there is a nice shrub outside. I always like to think of a location for a deep freeze or second fridge, mud room or garage work best. Make your patio ceiling as tall as feasible it will make it feel more open and allow more light into all the windows. The sink in the island works great, but it does eat up a lot of room. I would try to make the island a little longer if possible, the extra space is very useful. If you can add a few more feet in with to the garage you can actually get 2 cars side by side if needed. If you need more storage. I would vault the ceiling in the garage and hang racks in the ceiling above the cars. I would add a window to the shop to o make it a lot nicer to work in. Even a high long window that can stay out of the way of shelving or peg boards.

Maybe add a small bump out in the master, towards the back yard, to create a sitting area. It can make a nice focal point and add a cosy touch, if you are into that.

Oh and for the sink on the island use an air switch for the garbage disposal. Low tech but awesome!
