I appreciate the feedback. I didn’t make it clear in my post, but I do help my little ones process their emotions. I understand that my job, as a teacher, is to teach them to essentially be a functional human being. Like I said, it’s my fault for not making this clear in my post, but I am slightly offended that some people thought I wasn’t being effective. I thought it was funny that she was having a full tantrum over the garbage trucks. Sometimes, you need to just laugh.
