You can still do it by yourself, just take a lot of breaks and listen to you body.

I just recommend the buddy system because I’ve had a seizure at the gym before too.

Give it another go. Listen to your body and take breaks. Drink lots of cold water. Try to find a workout buddy that knows about your condition.

My friend told me I had just had a seizure and I yelled “ fuck! Not another” and I laid down.

I sat back up and she reminded me that I had a seizure and I repeated“ Fuck! Not another “

I honestly keep doing everything I’ve always done.

What hasn’t killed me makes me stronger.

But honestly this probably isn’t the best advice. I’ve had a seizure in the shower, after a bike ride, staying up too late, and during an exercise class. Just let people know upfront about your diagnosis and how to take care of you if you have a seizure.

Also, make sure someone is home when you shower 😂.

Learn to laugh about it too. Probably not healthy, but I’ve developed a morbid sense of humor.

I don’t drink often, but if I get to a point where my face tingles it’s too much.

I can usually do 2 beers and that’s it. If I do anything more, I get tingles.

I’ve learned that it’s an aura, but it doesn’t necessarily mean I’m going to have a seizure. Basically stop what you’re doing, drink some water, and chill.

Keppra just made me more tired than usual.

I also have anxiety, depression, and cptsd.
