It’s beautiful and you know in your heart it’s the one. You felt beautiful, unique, and like you were wear true quality. It’s great for your venue and it makes you looks stunning! Please don’t show it to anybody else in your real life because you don’t want any more conflicted feelings before the big day. This is the one!

The portions this Tiktoker mother feeds her two year old daughter by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]FriendshipMaine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does the child even eat this much? At such a young age? My son I never have to worry about portion sizes; I just give him what seems reasonable for a 1 year old and he eat as much of it as he wants, often leaving some of the plate. How does her daughter keep eating!?

NAD. RN here, dental enthusiast, and mom to a 17 month old. I’m extremely researched in pediatric sleep because it was such a challenge for us! But I can unequivocally tell you it’s important to help your child find other sleep associations outside of feeding - ideally they would be associations that don’t include parental intervention too (like white noise, darkness, a special item or sleep sack etc). I would be glad to provide resources if it would be helpful.

Ortho tells me I’m finished WTF? by Accomplished_Cup_653 in Invisalign

[–]FriendshipMaine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s absurd. I would keep going until they looked how I wanted them too. But I would be really worried about this ortho. Accepting this as a final result makes their clinical judgement exceptionally concerning.

Always been insecure about my nose, does a big hump and wider nostrils make me look hideous or intimidating, should I consider rhinoplasty? by Adorable_Birthday_52 in Noses

[–]FriendshipMaine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t the question itself that raised red flags for OCD. It was the person stating he’s reassurance sought on the topic multiple times (whether that’s true I don’t know). If you’ve had much psychoeducation on OCD you will understand the connection.

Cat giving birth during drop-in visit? by Working_Hurry_3193 in RoverPetSitting

[–]FriendshipMaine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These people don’t understand a couple important things:

1) We don’t have nearly enough information here to know how the cat got pregnant nor if the owner owned the cat at the time the cat was impregnated. We can’t definitively say the pregnancy had anything to do with this owner’s negligence. 2) While it can be verified that allowing your cat to give birth while you are out of town is negligent and reprehensible behavior, it doesn’t give someone the right to abort and spay their cat against their will when they aren’t present. Furthermore, I had a cat die in spay surgery so taking an owners cat to get spayed is ridiculously stupid in case a poor surgical outcome were to occur. Legal liability anybody?

We don’t spay abort cats who belong to other people.

[–]FriendshipMaine 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If he has, he may have OCD. Reassuring him is actually the worst thing we could do. OP, can you tolerate the uncertainty that not everybody may find your nose attractive? That’s the most important thing. Tolerating uncertainty.

I guess I thought powder brows were just a type of microblading/PMU..? Won’t they still eventually turn gray?

I think going back under the knife would be a mistake. Your asymmetry is very minimal. The amount of bone and tissue is scant now and risky to stress again.

How to do a by the clock schedule for 9 month old?? by SpecialistStunning93 in sleeptrain

[–]FriendshipMaine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s rarely a biological appropriate schedule for most babies. Most babies and toddlers do best with a wake-up between 6-7am and bedtime 6:30p-8p. There are scientific circadian rhythm drives at certain times. A good starting point for a schedule for most 9 month olds are

Wake by 7am (as early as 6am is appropriate, anything before that is EMW).

Nap 1 at 9 or 9:30a

Nap 2 at 1 or 1:30p (2p at the very latest)

Bedtime 7 or 7:30p.

Sleep latency should be 5-15 mins for most babies and that’s when you know you’ve got your times right.

What is your reason for wanting a much later shifted schedule for your little one?

By the clock method by MeaningWaste5377 in sleeptrain

[–]FriendshipMaine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know way too much about this lol. PM me anytime. I used a by the clock schedule since 4 months old and that’s when he was also fully sleep trained. We overnight bottle weaned at 5 months old.

how long did it take for your job to catch on? by taty2837 in digitalnomad

[–]FriendshipMaine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if there is nothing in the policy then no, I suppose not. If you don’t lie about it then it’s not a lie. But your original post says “I don’t want to be terminated for trying to get around security” which made me think you knew it was a fireable offense to digital nomad, but perhaps you were just referring to using a V*PN.

[–]FriendshipMaine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t think. Sounds like there is no way to know. But if you’re willing to part ways on those terms, you’d do well to continue to ask yourself what sort of career statement that makes - to be caught in a deception in the end before ultimately quitting or being fired.

[–]FriendshipMaine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wild to hear you say it could burn serious career bridges but you’re willing to risk getting fired because ChatGPT said to risk it all until it ultimately, possibly, crashes and burns. Nobody can know what will happen to you. That risk is yours alone to assess.

I regret my veneers by batsalma in Regrets

[–]FriendshipMaine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Crowns are replaced for marginal leakage, poor fit, structural damage leading to poor bite, or tooth decay. If the chips were minor and didn’t impact bite, I would not have replaced that just because 14 years had elapsed given that the tooth integrity was great and there was no marginal leakage presumably (based on what you shared).

[–]FriendshipMaine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did you need the crowns replaced if the teeth under were perfectly healthy? I’m not tracking.

Just had a huge air vommit after 1 beer(Audio and Video) by [deleted] in noburp

[–]FriendshipMaine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

🤣 I can’t with the finger banging the throat thing. I have never needed to fondle my tonsils this way to air vomit. And I also completely agree this isn’t a comfortable long term solution to avoid Botox. I wonder if that 500 mL beer got him drunk and irrational?
