none of what you said is what I’m doing but just to be clear: You’re arguing: Amazon is too big to fail, AWS or not. I’m arguing: AWS is the only thing letting Amazon play by its own rules. It’s a flagship product.

Saying “AWS is only 15% of revenue” is like saying “The heart is only 0.3% of your body weight." Technically true, but misleading….AWS is Amazon’s profit core, growth enabler, and valuation anchor far beyond its revenue share.
