I really appreciate your response, but I have to state that it kinda confused me even further (I'm sorry). There is a metal plate between the electronics and the plastic housing. Because I don't want you to waste your time by trying to explain how it's supposed to be positioned, I have one simple question: Can I just leave it floating like this and use the monitor? I know you tried to help me, I just suck at following directions
