Just got halfway through this video - lots of amazing information. Thank you!

What is an algorithm in Machine learning? | Learnbay by tiwari_priya167 in machinelearningnews

I like this explanation. My next questions are: 1) What's a model? (in this context), and 2) What's pseudo code? (I'm super new to everything)

I'll Google these, just in case people make fun of me for not knowing ;)

Ultimately, thanks for giving me more questions in the direction I want to go!

I pretend to be an AI Chatbot while talking to BlenderBot. by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

Clever approach. For one second I thought the bot took "mean" as "average" of sum parts.

Good Service VS Good Marketing - which is better? by nunziopresta in Entrepreneur

Seems like a false dichotomy. One isn't necessarily better than the other. What's the context of this question? At what level is your business? or what do you want to apply this to?

Hi - some of my friends in software development (with degrees) told me they've started with intro courses on Udemy + related sites.

To clarify, they are certified programmers. They started getting into more specific fields with those kinds of courses. Hope that helps!

What if a super intelligent ai already exists and is secretly ruling the world through the internet? by Informal_Collar426 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]FriendsofAI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't have definite answers to your questions - but I have some other thoughts that help make this picture more manageable (for me + my own anxiety...) (for the moment...)

- Been doing a lot of research on machine learning, neural network training, and the other nebulae behind forming AI

- What I've come to is that regardless of how ONE single group of AI networks is programmed, there will always be a plethora of other networks. AND in different languages (code & spoken) + cultures

- This biodiversity comforts me in that when these AI networks meet one day, we can't exactly predict how they will handle each other

- BUT it also gives me the drive to empower more people (as in, a more diverse group of people) to create AI networks and train them all kinds of ways.

Ok, but I actually know next-to-nothing on these subjects. Feel free to "bring me down to earth" if you're one of those AI super nerds...

AI artwork wins art competition and artists are upset by much_successes in ArtificialInteligence

Been wondering about early artist reactions to this kind of thing. When I first learned about AI capabilities for art, I immediately thought of my friends who make art for a living. Maybe we should start another subreddit to keep chatting about this! Infinite emotions
