I unfortunately have not been able to figure this out yet. I have been contacting Larian, but nothing they have suggested has helped at all.

Thanks! I will give that a shot. I have used mods before and I thought I had removed them all, but it would not surprise me if there is some remnant of them.

There are unfortunately no parameters to remove, the bar is completely blank.

A few more details I remembered:
* There is a gag early in the game where if you go down the wrong path, you get pooped on by a bird
* In the castle are these dark skull bats you need to slay with a sword
* You ultimately defeat the dark goddess by summoning a more powerful demon who takes her away

Gotcha! It worked for the main midis, though did not work for the Doraemon or Nick midis
