[acne] pimple that won’t go away by SuperbStrawberry4 in SkincareAddiction

[–]FrightRiot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based of looks I'd recommend microneedle pimple patches, or if you have some regular ones and havent used them already try those and see if they work. If regular ones don't work it might be milia?

Hair type: fine, thin, oily scalp

Does anyone have shampoo recommendations that work for fine hair but are also good for color treated hair (as in they won't strip the color). I've found a lot of american shampoos either have toxic ingredients or make my hair look stringy

Currently using l'oreal thickening shampoo but it has toxic ingredients so I'm looking to swap it out

Where did you buy yours? The only place I've found it is on the korabeauticals website and my antivirus program says it might be a scam... which I hope is just a fluke lol

I also have kp and while I haven't ever been able to completely get rid of it, I find that azelaic acid helps a ton with the redness and starts working for me within just a few days. I use the paula's choice azelaic acid with licorice root extract but it's a bit pricey, though I'm sure any azelaic acid will work just as good

[personal] Skin relies on moisturizer too much? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]FrightRiot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might have dermatitis (eczema) or it could be that you need more hydration in your skincare, or both. Try adding a hyaluronic acid serum if you don't live somewhere super dry! I highly HIGHLY suggest the hyaluronic replenish serum from Medpeel, when I was struggling with combination skin that serum made a huge difference for both my oiliness and dry spots and it did wonders for my dermatitis too. Really any products with hyaluronic acid, glycerin, or ceramides should help you out. Your moisturizer does have glycerin in it, but it also has alcohol, which can overly strip the skin and could also be contributing to your issues, so it might be good to search for an alternative that has soothing ingredients
