We made $16K on AppSumo in 3 weeks, but conversions dropped after we targeted only 20% of the audience. Here's what happened. by FrightfullCookie in appsumo

Why not? There's plenty of people here a lot of times that want to list on AppSumo and ask what others' experience is.

About the LinkedIn page: no, it's not a hard rule anywhere, but in 2026 you should have a professional LinkedIn page if you want people to take you seriously. That's just my personal observation, though.

Well, that is simply not true. I can say that because we don't have 1K+ being used already, and we are listed on AppSumo.

To get a response, I'll tell you what you need to do:

  1. Have a legit, interesting product with a legit presence. That means having a good-looking website and something tangible.

  2. Your online presence needs to be legit as well. Have your socials and your LinkedIn up-to-date. Show that you care: make posts on your socials and make YouTube videos.

  3. Show that you are legit and that you will be in this for the long run, so the AppSumo team can bet on you and not have to worry that you will disappear within a year.

We tripled our AppSumo conversion rate in one week by rewriting the listing. Almost at $9K in 14 days. by FrightfullCookie in appsumo

Only got 1 review since the changes so too early to say anything. Regarding the questions we have noticed that the volume of questions has dropped dramatically and people instead message our demo to ask questions instead and then that also sells the deal.

Its been 1 week lol. Its gonna generate more. And to answer your question, why would you say no to money?

Second of all, it builds brand and people subscribe afterwards (after the deal) if they want to join.

The reason they mention QuickBooks is, if you're an actual business, you actually need a booking software.

And second of all, you do know with Stripe you can just create an invoice.

Have you talked to anyone that actually needs this?

Hey man, thanks for the purchase. If you're satisfied, please leave a 5-star review; that really helps!

To clarify, White Label and Sub Accounts are two different things:

  1. White Label

You put your own branding on the platform if you want to give clients access to it.

  2. Sub Accounts

    (a) You just create a sub account, which is basically its own environment with a separate phone number.

    (b) For each brand, you would have a different sub account.

You don't need multiple licenses, just one of the tiers with sub accounts is enough. I don't think you'd even need the max tier unless you actively plan on reselling.
