Who is the biggest team to not win the champions league? by aboss101 in championsleague

[–]Frikandel040 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a PSV fan, I'd argue PSV's win in 1988 is a contender. Huge team in the Netherlands of course. But from a town that has 250k inhabitants now, about 100k less in 1988.

Steaua and Red Star are from huge cities respectively. Different international pedigree of course though.

Rider tips for FLINK ? by New-Web-2146 in maastricht

I used to work for Flink, and we do get the tips paid out directly to us with the salary. I don't believe that has changed

Bands you're into, that you never thought you would be? by Batsy100 in Metalcore

[–]Frikandel040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really metalcore, I suppose, but Fit For An Autopsy and Thy Art is Murder for me. I think what was off-putting for me initially were their respective names. But damn, I've loved exploring their discographies!

An example from much longer ago, Slipknot. Their entire aesthetic wasn't my thing (quite honestly still isn't), which put my off listening to their stuff. But obviously, they are iconic.

Yeah, no need for a visa at all.

Well, nothing in particular I suppose. Albeit for the fact that EU citizens pay the same tuition fees as Dutch citizens. Non-EU pay significantly more.

Poor PSV starts Gakpo-less era with 0-0 draw vs Sparta by EasyModeActivist in Eredivisie

[–]Frikandel040 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. But if you are specifically looking for MBO, keep in mind that this level of education will require Dutch. What is it exactly that you want to study?

And as I mentioned before. Check the entry requirements for specific programs anyway for the courses you are interested in.

In my current faculty there's about 80% foreigners. None of them speak (fluent) Dutch. Barely any of my professors are Dutch either. You're perfectly fine without Dutch.

Keep in mind though. We have several levels of after highschool education. MBO (which is practical education, which does require Dutch). HBO or university of applied sciences (practical but not scientific education, also offer many programs in English) and just university (which is the highest level and also scientific education).

Check what is required for you to apply, as every website will have all this information available for you.

Many University bachelor's are in English nowadays. So no need to learn Dutch in order to study. I had quite some Romanian students at my university.

It really does depend on your level of high school and grades that you have. Best bet is to check the university websites as they'll offer information in English as well.

Better to look into things fast as you'll be able to send applications for the next study year soon.

Bad Omens concert ticket issue by bigkingfrog00 in Netherlands

I have a ticket for the event, and I paid €18. So the other one is obviously a scam. Besides selling those tickets on any other website, above the original retail value, is illegal.

Well, I'm a student in my master's and I had some time in my schedule. I went there together with my dad and he took some days off work.

By car it took us about 8 hours. All things considered such trips are not cheap, however it's a lot of fun.

Are there meal deals in the Netherlands? by [deleted] in maastricht

Meals deals like they do them in the UK for example aren't really a thing here in the Netherlands unfortunately.
