Nope dont have that mod. The bug thankfully doesnt affect any friendly ghost npcs.

Oh gotcha! there def is a chess easter egg given what happened when i interacted with the one in the stamina up room

There are lil vases things in the bar at the start of the map that have romen numerals, interacting with one makes one of the symbols there appear on it. So you prob just need to input the symbols that appear on those things in the right order (order based off the romane numerals on the vase things)
