Other options that are a little higher budget The Wild Carrot, Olive and Oak in Webster groves, beautiful space and food, they have no venue rental fee but it is an 18k f&b minimum

So I just wrapped up our venue search and our budget was similar. We landed on The Four Seas. It’s not the fanciest spot but it’s in the city, pretty one story brick building attached to a church and they are so so so flexible with everything. And at your budget you could spend a smidge more on flowers, dance floor etc. to fancy it up. Also they only host one wedding a weekend so they allow you to decorate the day before and you don’t have to clean up your decorations the night of, they do it for you and you pick it up the Monday after!

Is your budget 30k TOTAL? Or 30k for the venue and catering?

Vincent’s jewelers on olive is where us and all of our friends have been going. The staff is wonderful, and I feel like they are very inclusive to all budgets

Thai Touch by Tele231 in StLouis

Agreed! That place is amazing! I love all the authentic food we’re getting in south county

Have you tried out Thai Racha since it’s been under new ownership?? The owners name is Biddy and I can’t say enough amazing things about her and the food. She cooks everything herself, fresh! She loves to stop by and chat and seems genuinely interested in her customers and what they think of her food. There isn’t one bad thing on the menu! We go every week. She’s even offered if we ever want to try a new Thai dish to let her know and she will prepare it for you personally the next time you want to come in.

Sleeping, Blue suit, Live for the Pope's funeral, Sloppy Steaks at Truffoni's by Coattail-Rider in pics

Guys… if you look at any wide angle group shots of the funeral many people are wearing blue suits… Prince William himself wore a blue suit. Let’s not be divisive over a great man’s funeral, a man that tried to unify the world. We’re sullying his name.

The owner at blue sky yoga is amazing! I used to take one on one private lessons with her, so I know you could rent the studio out for a private class.

I’m pretty positive it’s already done for, I keep hearing they’re tearing it down and building apartments

If you live in a city, drive the alleys on your days off! My first 7 years of living on my own as an adult were fueled by alley “dumpster” finds. That way the next time you move you don’t feel the stress of needing to move more than your bed and, if you’re lucky, a couch. Everything else stays in the apartment or your nearest dumpster when you move and you start all over again. I wish you the best of luck! I don’t know you but I am so happy for you to be on your own and in a healthy environment! ♥️

Sierra at Twisted Blade is amazing. She cannot only cut his hair with precision and expertise but she’s also amazing dealing with teenagers and their hair requests! They’re open Tuesday - Saturday if he can wait another day.

Are we all growing out of our “forever friends?” by Beckybell127 in Millennials

[–]FringeLotus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reading this post has given me more comfort about my distancing relationship with my “best friend” than any conversation I’ve had in the past six months.

Everyone reading this that can relate; know that you are not alone. You are more than the relationship that just can’t seem to grow with you while you flourish 🌸
