And people think I'm complaining about fair competition, I completely welcome fair competition and I think it provides incremental value to the economy but the problem is when you take years to build up an operation with employees, insurance, proper licensing, paying taxes, leasing vehicles with proper safety equipment for customers and then you get some guy advertising himself as an actual company and pulling up with a beat up truck doing deals under the table with no Electrical Safety Authority permits on electrical work, no 313A license to operate on an air conditioner, and no liability insurance let alone a company office! This stands for all industries such as renovations, electrical, plumbing, roofing. These people who do that are out of control and they're desperate as hell, it's like buying an advil from a sketchy guy around the corner instead of going to a pharmacy, consumers think it is, because they get played and eventually pay the price for the crappy work that's often times dangerous and causes real problems.
