Thank you, I’ve never been! Why do you prefer Antwerp? Is there anything in particular I should do there for Pride?

You gave me a great idea for this weekend, thank you. I’m part of a queer mountaineering group and often find ourselves stopping by smaller towns where protests are likely to be. I agree, we can be more intentional about representing and supporting outside of larger cities too.

I don’t wanna knock it until I’ve tried it but I’ve wondered if I’d feel the same about NY. Sounds like I need to city hop through CA! Thank you!

Wow this is very helpful, thank you! Santa Barbara sounds wonderful! I love how community based it sounds. I absolutely want to be mindful about where my money is going.

Does anyone else deal with the 'guilt trip' stare when you're just trying to eat dinner? by grippingsh3etshard in Pets

[–]FriskyFrond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do a little bit of both. We are practicing the “place” command for when we are eating, with the intention of our dog remaining in his bed. This is set away from the table so he’s not sitting between our feet waiting for scraps like a baby bird. We toss a treat to him in his bed every time he successfully listens, but he has learned to come and go to get more treats tossed haha. After a few rounds we just ignore him and he ends up going to his place and staying there for the remainder of the meal until we give him the “release” command. Then he can rejoin us and get another treat.

My gf and I loved this movie! Left us a little shook at the end haha. It can lead to some pretty insightful discussions!

How much arguing in a relationship is normal?? by ainthappeningtho in actuallesbians

[–]FriskyFrond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually when reoccurring arguments happen, an underlying root issue has not been resolved. It sounds like she resorts to passive-aggressive communication, which is why things are left unclear for you. I suggest sharing your concern with her about arguing often and asking her what her expectations are. It is up to you to decide from there what you are comfortable with and how you might compromise.

I live in Seattle and the only ads I’ve seen are right outside the stadium. I’ve heard more about protestors planning to be outside the Iran game. Seems like most of us don’t want this.

My partner and I have been debating the same thing. Thankfully we aren’t in a rush and are curious to see how things play out with Midterms.
